Gohan never truly died to my knowledge, he was just severely beaten & he was able to make it until he was healed. Also, Super Buu has below normal/average intelligence. He's almost as dumb as Kid Buu except for the fact that Super Buu likes to fight whereas Kid Buu just likes to destroy. Super Buu told Gohan that he wanted to fight Gotenks again to which Gohan agreed. They fused & Buu absorbed them so it was kind of a mistake on Gohan as he's the oldest & smartest.

He died when Kid Buu destroyed Earth. Which was mostly Vegetto's fault because he wasn't to get the others out of Buu instead of just killing Buu..So many times Buu could have died yet he lives. Also Buu provoked Gotenks to be made.

If Vegito didn't get them out, they wouldn't been gone along with Buu so that was the best option at that time.

If he killed Buu he'd have killed them also. Why not just wish them back? They had to anyway along with everybody else and Earth during the end.

It was easier freeing them than wishing them back. I mean, seriously, why kill all of their loved ones & wish them back. The plan they came up with was better.

Because they had to wish back everybody else already. The rest of their families and friends were already dead.

Still, why make even more of a hassle. That plan makes no sense & you know it.

It makes perfect sense to me. What was a hassle was playing around with Buu waiting for him to try and absorb him while acting like he was going at it seriously. He could have saved trouble by killing Buu. Or maybe that's just what I think. It's not like wishing back 4 more people would be hard for Shenron or Porunga.

I'm not saying it's hard but it'd be stupid for him to KILL HIS OWN FAMILY.

It created Kid Buu who killed them anyways along with Earth, nearly killed Vegeta, and Fat Buu, and was beating Gokou. In the long run, granted they didn't know that would happen, it was for the worst.

Still, it's better than them killing their own family. And it's Goku's fault that Gohan, Goten, & Trunks died as he grabbed that assho!e Hercule & his dog instead of them. Even Vegeta got on his ass about it after they teleported to the planet of the Kai's.

Well he did save Dende and he couldn't leave Mr. Satan who was with Dende. Plus weren't they closer? Gokou didn't really have much time to think. It's his fault to start with anyways. He could have beaten Fat Buu but no let the kids have a chance.

He wasn't closer to Hercule by that time, he only became closer to Hercule after the Buu saga ended. And if it were me I'm sure I'd save my SONS & my best friends SON!

He means when he was saving them he was physically closer to Hercule than Gohan and the others.

But one thing I was wondering, I'm not sure if it's in the actual manga or not but when Gohan was fighting Super Buutenks & Dende healed him, shouldn't he have become a little stronger due to the Zenkai's Saiyans are supposed to receive after healing from injuries?

Maybe but I if he did it apparently wasn't enough to give him the power to do anything. Or it could be he's part human and that only works with full saiyans.

No, it works for half Saiyans as well. I think that it may have been because besides Cell, Zenkai's were completely forgotten about by the Android saga.
