Because I like Bardock's attitude. I like the way he is. Cocky yet not nearly as mean as Vegeta and Nappa and actually cares for his friends. And I already told you why he didn't find him. Besides not knowing what he looks like Bardock wouldn't keep his body because he doesn't turn good. Even if he had turned good at the end he has done to many evil things to keep his body just like Vegeta wasn't going to keep his body but they needed him.
What does Enma have to do with anything? It's not like he's going to bring up a spirit from hell who probably doesn't even remember anything anyway. Gokou has no reason to look up his father either since he thinks all saiyans are like what Vegeta, Nappa, and Radditz were even though his father was a bit different.
