Bardock was created by Akira, he had one little appearance in the manga when Freeza pieced together the resemblance Goku had with him.

No Bardock was created by Toei. Akira just liked him and used him but all he shows is right before his death because that's the only time Freeza sees him.

Dude, in the manga when Freeza sees Goku for the first time he thinks of Bardock, Toei has nothing to do with the manga. READ THE MANGA. We see a FULL BODY SHOT of Bardock except for maybe all of his legs & he looks just like he did in the anime. Akira created Bardock. End of story.

But yeah. He didn't have nearly as much screen time as Bardock 😬, and I agree with Ultimate Hulk43 that he would've straight up killed King Vegeta.

The only indication of their power is in filler, so going by that, Bardock was indeed superior to King Vegeta.

what did bardock do that made him stronger? blast frieza? they both woulda been killed by the punch. although in this case i do like bardock more than vegeta. why? cause he was actually badass unlike goku. king vegeta i think was a lil bit of a pussy.

How about Bardock taking on missions that Elite Saiyans wouldn't touch which would include King Vegeta. Or being stated to be stronger than King Vegeta. Or taking on a whole group of Freeza's men from low class to elite while nearly dead after taking a blast from Dodoria and loosing a ton of blood. King Vegeta has no showing that would make somebody assume he's got the power and in Bardock movie the doctors want to retest him because they believe he's gotten stronger than King Vegeta and he's only a low class saiyan. According to stuff I've read when I was more into learning all I could about DBZ he's suppose to have a power of 10 thousand but I don't actually remember if they say that or not in the Japanese version.

Yes he was. I liked Toma also. His second in command was pretty cool. Actually I just liked his whole team. The only saiyans above them are Broli, Goten and Present Trunks.

i do like how king vegeta was basically vegeta with red hair and a beard and mustache. he was literally the same char model it was funny. even voiced by the same guy sounded exactly the same

Bardock was the same. He was voiced by the same girl, and looks exactly like Gokou.
