Hmm. I guess that would explain it, but... I recall Piccolo saying in one of the episodes that he could regenerate as long as his head isn't damaged. 😬

Yes he said this after Trunks broked his arm and legs when Piccolo was a statue, arms and legs are not vital parts, also remember Piccolo being dying by the beam of Freeza, By Cell first form breaking his kneck.

Piccolo didn't die when Cell (first form) broke his neck, even after being thrown in the water. He was just unconscious, but brought back with a Senzu Bean.

I believe he was dying, because Cell also make a hole in his gut. anyway my point is that when his vital parts are injure, he could die and his regenaration is limited to his arms and legs, or non vital parts.

I want to ask your opinions, in the Daizenshuu, aprove by Toriyama, the power level of Goku is base form 3 000 000 when he got heal by the machine when Vegeta put him, and the Daizenshuu also put that his ssj top is 150 000 000,
What do you think of those numbers?

Anyways. Cell was still created so he probably has some stuff that isn't organic but he bleeds, he can regrow his body, when he gets something destroyed it's organic material not metal or anything mechanical. He was created to absorb 17 and 18 to transform so there probably has to be something up but he was able to regen into his perfect form after throwing up 18 which may just be Akira not really caring about that. As for him absorbing energy. It wasn't exactly the same as 19 and 20.

Yes it was.

Then why didn't he just absorb Gohan's Kamehameha? Didn't he just absorb people's life force by impaling them with his tail. It's not really the same. If I recall he left Piccolo's arm brittle and dry which means anybody he did that to should be the same way. 19 and Gero didn't.

Why did he not just use friza's final attack on Gohan instead of trunks.

Who knows. Maybe because he just wanted to kill somebody but wanted to make Gohan suffer.

Oh yeah make Gohan suffer, yeah because if I had just had a child ram his fist in my stomach so hard that I spat out a full human/android and reversed my transformation, I really would want to go another round with him again, thats why DBZ villains always failed.

Well he did come back Perfect, and he was cocky, and he was a lot more powerful.

Yea if half the villains just went all out instead of toying with the heroes they could probably win. The only one I can think of that went all out was Fat Buu, Super Buu and Radditz. Freeza didn't even fully power up until Gokou went ssj, Cell didn't fully power up until Gohan went ssj2, Buu w/anybody absorbed toyed around until somebody came along and beat him. It's a nice trend I guess.

Every villain in DBZ was at some point cocky and/or arrogant, why?| if they just killed them at the beginning...only the androids seem to get on with the battle.

Well then DBZ would have ended with probably the saiyan Saga. Gohan, and Krillen would have already been dead when Gokou arrived, then Vegeta would have killed Gokou in ape form and even Yajirobe cutting off his tail wouldn't have saved anything.

Its not about cocky all along. For example, Vegetto had been acting cocky on purpose to accomplish his plan of saving the others.

Cockiness is when a character is toying with his enemies without any reasons.

Which is most every villain. They usually just toy with them out of fun.

What? for fun? All the villains/heroes in DBZ is only acting cocky on purpose because they have reasons. Cockiness is when a character is toying with his enemies without any reasons.

Vegeta and Nappa toyed with them just to see Gokou. Yea that's not a great purpose. Freeza didn't go straight to his final form because he was to arrogant to think somebody could beat him, and didn't use full power even though he wasn't killing Gokou until after Gokou was to strong. Cell let them train for a week just because he wanted a fight. They are all arrogant and cocky thinking nobody could beat them and what happens they get beaten. It's not for any reason whatsoever except pride.

Vegeta's reason and not cockiness or not for fun:

Nappa: I still dont get it why do we want to wait for kakarrot.

Vegeta : because he's a traitor to all saiyans.

a traitor deserves to see his son and friends die before his eyes.

deserves to feel powerless he...is how much agony we can inflict.

Freeza's reason and not cockiness or not for fun:

Freeza: I have so much strength that not even I can fully control it.

Cell's reason and not cockiness or not fun:

Cell: Im going to do this contest to test my strength and terrorize people.

And it will help to build up my power.

Its not cockiness and not for fun all along.

Yet all of Gokou's friends were already dead, Vegeta still didn't go all out after Krillen and Gohan left, and when he did go Giant Ape he proceeded to just squish him instead of killing him instantly.

Freeza arrogantly thought he was so powerful nobody could beat him so he didn't go all out but let somebody stronger come before doing it.

Cell letting the Z fighters train to test his power extremely cocky. He thought his power was so great that nobody could hope to match him anyways. And instead of just killing everybody he gives them a chance to get so much stronger. Yea that's cocky. Just like trying to make Gohan mad. Just like Vegeta let Cell get his perfect form. Because he was so cocky from thinking he was so powerful.

They were all so sure of themselves winning they didn't think that maybe somebody may have more power than them because nobody had so far.

Vegeta just wanted to prove his worth...I really liked vegeta.
