i believe Krillin dies 4 times, technically 5. he dies in Dragonball thanks to the henchman of Demon king Piccolo, Cymbal. He dies twice in Dbz, Once by Frieza, then turned to chocolate then eaten by Super buu. the technical death is the Trunks timeline. he is killed in gt by super 17

That's what gets me; all the deaths. If there were no Dragonballs to bring them back, they would lose to the enimies they come across. But this also confuses me; in the show King Kai said beings can only die once then bought back.

Chiaotzu died twice, but then he's bought back to life. 😬 Did they have a plan of some sort, to help while they're still dead? Were they unaware of the dragonballs at all?

When someone's anwsered that, anwser this; what made Vegeta become a good guy, even after being evil & cold hearted for so long? He has a wife & a son too. He's soften up a lot.
