I don't understand how Goku was able to defeat him though. He got the power from his friends but surely that couldn't have been enough to defeat Brolly, yet when Brolly fought Goku & the others, they were still alive but hit Brolly once, dead.

One thing EVERYONE needs to remember about Broly is that he's NOT the real Legendary Super Saiyan, Goku is.

Well Brolly is non-canon so Goku was supposed to be the true one but in that universe they make it as Brolly does.

Goku used Dragon Fist to beat him.and if Brolly was the LSSJ he would have surpassed ssj1 to change in to ssj2,like Goku did!

Goku didn't use DragonFist to beat Broly.

O ya it was the either Omega shenron or Kid Buu.

He didn't use it on those two either.
