Homosexuality: Chosen or Genetic?

Returning to topic- in my opinion 'true' homosexuality is actually a 'mental disorder', at least to the extent that it is not 'normal'.

I do not mean this in any moral sense- to each their own.

Biologically, it's not a normal inclination. Unless it's some kind of inbuilt population controller, but that's a whole other subject.

Bardock, it's something that I have to deal with day in, day out with VVD. To be honest, you don't know what it means and it has nothing to do with you.

So stop it. Will say no more on the matter.

We did...but he asked us (me) (more or less) nicely to not use it.........and I don't think I will get a lot of excitment out of countless hours of being haunted by AC (I am just not as powerful as Morbid for Daniel)

It won't be countless hours, it'll be one report to the moderators.

I'm all for jokes but that's a personal thing and none of you have any right using it. The only reason he uses it is because he created it and he actually knows me. If someone came here that you knew personally and started saying something that clearly wasn't enjoyed by you, I'd not jump on it.

Good idea......I still don't really get what is considered a Mental Disorder......can someone enlighten me with the correct definition?

Hmm interesting...can someone now give me the correct definition of mental disorder when it is not connected with homosexuality?

As to what that implies, it seems to vary from country to country. England, The US and Germany have several variations of the rights enjoyed by those who can be classified as suffering from a "mental disorder"

The thread is disappearing into a pit of confusion though.

Mental disorders can be natural, if we are going to start using the term loosely.

'Nature' comes into the argument in the sense of 'nature' or nurture.

People arguing that it is 'natural', are merely suggesting that it is not chosen.
