Homosexuality: Chosen or Genetic?

Ya know...

Who gives a flying **** if it's environmental or genetic? The question at hand is if it's chosen or genetic. Both views say "no" on choice.

It depends. It actually comes genetically naturally but IRL, People can turn gay in many situations. Homosexuality is naturaly Genetic. I doubt it would be chosen like that. The hormones towards the same sex or opposite sex happens.

What situations are those?

Exactly... No one has yet to give one valid example of how someone "turns" or willfully chooses to be gay, as in becomes genuinely sexually attracted to the same sex where they were once attracted to the opposite. I am not talking about situations were someone is swayed into having "gay sex" (i.e. prison) mind you.

Several homosexual members on here have given their real life examples of how they were gay from an early age and this wasn't a willful choice nor did anyone or any situation make them do a 180* sexually.

So please, if you're going to say gay people willfully choose to alter their sexual attractions or they were "turned" gay, have the decency to give examples of how this happened or could happen.

But you can't choose homosexuality. Either you are attracted to men or you aren't, it is not a choice either way.

I know it is not chosen naturally. I'm here to defend that it is Genetic naturally. But it can be chosen in many scenarios.

Some one really needs to explain this prison sex enigma to me. Because I just don't get it.I'm not even talking about its validity in regards to this discussion. I'm just saying someone who knows what they're talking about when they talk about gay prison sex feel free to explain it to me.

Well, it is told that in some prisons in the US there are rapes between inmates because of the lack of sex they get. Not sure about the truth of that, though it is a general understanding.

Then again, rape is an act more about violence and power than it is about sex.
