I'm just kind of wondering why peoples think Inuyasha is so great...... I donny despise it as blackhat does but it's not great either.

After aboot the first 50 episodes it gets really boring with the repetitiveness and only the odd episode is really worth watching that actually kind of advances the storyline a little.... 😬

Bloodlust was a great movie, So was the 1980's classic.

Than AD Police, I loved that show, it was pretty cool,

Its the N00bs..they ahven't been exposed to much else that has fansas/romance/isn't super futurelike(and besides YYH,not many anime guys on tv were...as they would put it..HAWT.I don't think anyone in Inuyasha but Musou is hot,but when you haven't seen much anime,I guess anyone can be hot eh?

Inuyasha isn't that bad BlackHat...I don't see why you dislike it so much...

It got alot of attention and popularity when it first came out...(like a decade ago)

Inuyasha could be considered to be an anime legend for its long haul...(even if it hasn't been completed yet....

Its an anime ledgend because of Takahashi,if some low named manga-ka thought it up,no one would know it.

Everything Takahashi produces is crap,but it gets much attention because of her long time devout fans from the early 90s late 80s.Its sort of like,if JRK(Harry Potter)was to make another book,everyone would buy it,and even if it was bad,they would LOVE it.Why?because of devout fan-ness.

Now that was Japan,In America,Inuyasha got popular by n00btaku.They had not been exposed to anything like Inuyashja thus so far on Cartoon Net(they have only had futuristic works minus Rarunai Kenshin),and none of those even seemed to boarder shoujo(Inuyasha's romance)This attracted both MALE AND FEMALE n00btaku that wanted a change in the anime they watched.ALSO,female n00btaku seemed to love the bishi.Although tasteless,Inuyasha was probably the closest anime on CN to have "the bishi".

For those reasons,Inuyasha because popular.

It would only have a small group of fans if not for Takahashi worshipping.I can guarantee you that if Ayashi No Ceres was to be put on air instead if Inuyasha,in 3 weeks,you'd call THAT an anime legend as well.
