Why do you pay an extra 25 cents to get something put on your hamburger, but they don't take off the price if you get something taken off?

Cos fast food places are money hungry bananas 💃

Hey ya know whats funny? When you ask for a cheeseburger without the cheese they actually get a cheeseburger and peel the cheese off! 🤣 oh the idiocy

If you were a genie and a person asked you this wish, "I wish you would not grant me this wish" what would you do?

Id say ''your wish is my command'' and get back in the bottle.

For the same reason people say ''man/woman who needs no introduction' figure of speech

ME: My wish to not grant my wish.

I wish you didn't grant my wish to not grant my wish. (A brain teaser)

I would reply 'which wish are you talking about?'

Until you can actually pin down the wish you are referring to in the same sentence you ask for it, I can avoid it. All you are saying is 'this wish' or 'my wish'- which is not in itself referring to anything with certainity.

And if you said "I wish you didn't grant my wish to not grant my wish" I would simply say you had not wished for that yet so that makes no sense.

You'll never do it! Vaguries of grammar are on my side. You have to use the word wish twice in one sentence, trying to mean the same wish, but I can always interpret it as talking about two different wishes, one of which you have not yet defined.

BTW, the rumour has always been that Donkey Kong was a simple typo during the translation. Surprised no-one else had heard that!

Nah...first for me! Never even thought about it to be honest...

What do you call a male Ladybug?

malybug✅

Nah its a Laddybug surely

or a boybybug ✅

😆 This thread was fun.

Another question:

Who did actually put the 'bob' in the 'bob-she-bob-she-bob?" Was that the same person who put the 'ram' in the 'ram-a-lam-a-ding-dong?'
