Come up with some good things to complain about, all I hear is little illegitimate things about Simple Plan and it's starting to really get on my nerves. This is so awesome...I'm glad more people are helping me stick up for Simple Plan!!! Oh, and Slipknot, I can handle it. I can have my opinion too, and if you don't like the fact that I think you are an egotistical rude guy, then you can leave. I get the point that you don't like Simple Plan, and all you've done is start arguments in this thread. So why don't you just stop replying to things we say and never come back? It would be awesome, because us girls don't appreciate you and everyone else insulting adn putting Simple Plan down. I'd leave before it gets really ugly! Thanks Clara G!!! I have said this many times before--anybody who feels personally offended when any random, probably moronic forumite insults their favorite band shouldn't be a member of said forum in the first place. My bashing Simple Plan isn't the same as my bashing you as a person. As I already said, one of my best friends is a huge Simple Plan fan. Do you honestly think the boys from SP would come to your defense on numerous occasions if they saw you being flamed on the internet? I hope not.
I've also said this many times before. True that there are many, many SP fans in the world. But you know what? There are also many, many Britney and 50-cent fans. Neither of whom are talented. The fact that the media likes a certain artist or band and thinks they will sell doesn't mean they have talent. There's a guy named Jim Mesey (could be spelled wrong) who is literally the best guitarist I've ever heard. But you've never heard of him, have you? The fact is that there are thousands of talented musicians who never even get signed, let alone become hugely famous, just as there are a smaller number of crappy musicians who are hugely famous. Talent is not equivalent to fame.
Nine year old girls? Ok, my dad likes Simple Plan...and he's in his fourties...and he's most definitely not a nine year old girl. Tons of people from different age groups like Simple Plan. I never expected everyone to like them...everyone's a critic and people will always oppose with eachother. I don't care that you don't like Simple Plan, it just pisses me off that you're saying crap about them that is totally retarded. I'm sticking up for them, because I like them. And if that means I have 'bad taste' in music. I don't care! I like them and that's that. If you want to stay here and get into arguments with me and others over Simple Plan that's your business. I don't feel personally offended because you guys are insulting Simple Plan...I'm a little pissed...but that's a little different from offended. I was offended because a 'person' was insulting ME as a person and many other people. Insulting the band is your opinion, but making fun of people for the music they listen to is retarded. And I don't care if Simple Plan would defend me or not because they are not me. Everybody acts differently...and I am a very outspoken person...which is apparently not a good thing at the moment. I, myself, would be very grateful if someone was sticking up for me on the internet while others were making fun of me. Please don't make me answer the question about 50 Cent and Britney Spears, I don't want to make fun of or insult any person that is trying to get by in this world. At least they are making something of themselves!

I wasn't judging talent by record sales! You are totally turning around what I said and putting words in my mouth. I was just pointing out how many fans they had. The odds are against me right now with all of you ganging up on me for liking a certain type of music. It is very unjust, and sort of racist if you think about it. You're disputing with me because of music I listen to, that's different but similar to making fun of someone because of their skin color or their background. I'm getting really sick of this thread and how much you guys discourage people. Do you get off on lowering peoples self-esteem? Because that's what it really seems like at the moment.
