wow! i cant believe you guys spend all your time making fun of Simple Plan cant you find something better to do! and if you heard their 2nd album i think you would think differently because it is a great album and I'm sure it will actually top the charts! it has amazing lyrics and its just awesome everyone who listens to it loves it! seriously! but thats just me.

Nobody here spends all their time insulting Simple Plan. And I've heard their second album. The lyrics are crappy, and it sucks. 😐

Record sales prove nothing. And basically everything you said is wrong.

But it's true--record sales mean nothing, I hated their last album just as much as anything I've heard from them, and the lyrics were just bad when compared to those of a good lyricist.

i've heard that albums too and it sucks. it's also called "still not getting any", i beleive it was ment to be "still not getting any more talented" but they thought that might ruin that mirage of talent that some people cling too. and with that "**** off your annoying" thats what we've been telling simple plan for ages

Ok, first things first...SIMPLE PLAN IS NOT A ****ING BOY BAND!!! The only thing boy bands do is sing and dance like a bunch of ****** fruitcakes. Simple Plan actually took the time to learn how to play instruments and they don't dance like fairies during their performances. Well, they suck at dancing and it's funny when they attempt to dance...but that's a whole different matter. And you know what, there was a section on the Simple Plan dvd to all you people who hate Simple Plan. They were saying that you can't faze them and that they're here for the people that actually like listening to them. They don't give a **** if you don't listen to their music or wear their shirts...because for every ONE person that hates Simple Plan, there's like a thousand kids who LOVE Simple Plan. Oh, and I would never go into the Slipknot thread and start insulting them because I have common courtesy unlike you rude assholes. They do have great lyrics, and you if you people can't see that...you're blind! It's fine that you don't like them...I'm not trying to force you to like them. Just stop being so ****ing arrogant about it. It's really lame and immature; you really need to get new hobbies! Stop behaving like two year olds and act your own age.

As previously mentioned, these songs are fundemenatly about the same thing. notice the difference. The Bad Religion song was good.
i dont give a shit about how "bad religion were simple plans icons" you cant say that Simple Plans lyrics are great. they are so middle of the road i'm surprised they dont have white lines drawn on them.
and if Simple Plan dont care that i dont like them, nice, pass on a message for me "STOP MAKING BAD MUSIC!"
you can give me all those "for every one of you" lines, but for every simple plan flunkey, theres a thousand Britany Spears fans. make her good? hell no.
i also dont think we (slipknot and myself i'd imagine were the intened recipients) are arseholes. we are stating out opinions and giving reasons for why we dissagree with the people who like simple plan and the reasons they like them.
finaly, i dont think that saying "Simple Plan actually took the time to learn how to play instruments" when in an interveiw i saw with the guitarist they even said how they only have to use 3 chords. guess what, give me a week and a guitar and i can get that shit down pat. so could most people. the guitar is the easiest instrument to learn but the hardest to master. bass is easy enough to learn also, as i know, being a hack bass player. i've also seen people pick up drums rather quickly. and i guess learning how to sing isn't an issue, from the sound of simple plans current singer.

oh and i dont think i've mentioned boy band while talking of simple plan but now you mention it....

I didn't say that you and Slipknot were assholes...you assumed that all on your own; that must mean something. You really have problems with the things you write. First of all, you compared Sorrow to Perfect World and you said the guy needed to learn four chords not three. Get your facts straight before you sit there and criticize me. I'm pretty sure they need to know more than four chords! Ever stop to think that the guy was just kidding around? I've got the guitar tabs for some of their songs and as well as chords, they play notes...believe it or not! Now, the songs you compared are about two totally different subjects and are really not the right songs to use while you are comparing. Perfect was written for the guys' parents when they didn't support their band in the beginning. Sorrow is not even close to similar to Perfect. Sorrow was probably written by Bad Religion later in their music careers. Which means they had some practice on writing lyrics for their songs...if they even wrote the song! Just because it's one of their songs doesn't necessarily mean they wrote it. I am so over you people repeating yourselves over and over again, in doing so; making ME repeat myself over and over again. All you're doing is repeating the same questions with different wording and it's really...irritating. No matter how much you people insult Simple Plan, I will still love their music. You can't change that, so what's the point in responding on these threads? If you're trying to make us not like Simple Plan...you're fighting a losing battle there. AND, we've heard over and over again that you HATE Simple Plan SO ****ing much and that their music is so goddamn annoying! We get the point! You don't like them...we don't give a flying ****! So go ***** and complain somewhere else, because it's getting old in this thread. Pierre is an amazing singer and the rest of the guys are great musicians! I don't care if you don't see it...I do and right now; I don't give a **** about what you haters think!

i couldn't find out when they made it, but dont be a dumbass, what am i going to gain by saying they made it if they didn't? they have a video for it on the rock against bush cd. and they dont need people to write their music for them. dont insult one of the best punk bands in the world in an attempt to stand up for one of the biggest bunch of punk tryhards.

Surely, for every person that hates Simple Plan, there will be about 2 people that like them and about 1000 people who've never heard of them.

while i'm sure the song is beautiful if you connect with it and i'm sorry if you've lost someone close, it dosn't stop the song writing from being average. as above.

I didn't say that you and Slipknot in particular were assholes, I just said the Simple Plan haters in general. YOU made it seem as if I was attacking you, when in fact I wasn't. So stop assuming things and giving me hell for it.

Read what you just wrote about the songs, they ARE in fact different. The only similar parts of the songs, are that they're talking about a father and a son.

I wasn't insulting Bad Religion, I was just saying 'what if' they didn't write the song. Stop accusing me of things I didn't do.

I keep repeating myself because YOU guys are writing about the same stupid reasons that they suck. You aren't pointing out anything, you pointed it out once and now you are just repeating yourself over and over. I think that other people can make up their own minds about what they think of Simple Plan. They don't need your stupid repetitive comments to influence their decision. I didn't come on here to make people LIKE Simple Plan. I just came on here wanting to discuss Simple Plan with fellow fans. You should have the same decency to let them make up their own minds. Because if I didn't know Simple Plan and came on here to read about them, I most certainly would not listen to any of the bullshit you are writing down in this thread.

Are you kidding me? I am going to like Simple Plan for as long as I possibly can. I love their music and nothing is going to change that. If it means I have to be different than other people...so be it. I could ****ing care less!!!
