Perfect World is totally wicked. I love how the guitar just totally rocks out in the beginning after a few bars. I'm always 'air strumming' along with it!!! I think that's why I love SP. Even though they're lyrics are sort of depressing, the actual music and instrumental part of it makes you want to dance or something and it puts you in a good mood. Well it puts me in a good mood, I can't really say that much for the rest of you fans and haters out there!!!
haha i air guitar that part too!! i was listenin to my headphones in the car one time with my eyes closed and that song came on and after i air guitared it or whatever i opened my eyes and everyone was staring at me and laughing lol. i was like i dont care thats an awesome guitar part! lol they still make fun of me

Umm yeah I was Lilli08 but well here's the story I forgot my password so gave them my address so they could send me the instructions on how to change my password but I never got the email and I can't think of what my password is so I just changed my username to Lilli80 ok? But if I suddenly remember what my password is I'll go back to Lilli08 lol. I just don't get why the email didn't get to me. Do they send it straight away or do you have to wait a couple of days. I thought it was straight away but obviously not! Anyways that was off topic just thought you should all know I'm the same person lol!

I wasn't intentionally bashing them (aside from where I pointed out that I was) but rather just stating that there is an abundance of better punk bands out there (NOT Good Charlotte, Blink182 or Sum 41) that nobody has either heard of, or cared to hear about.
Bands like Deisel Boy, Lagwagen, Millencollin, Thrice, and so on. It is just irritating to see that people will pay attention to bands so long as they are popular.

I am posting this as a general statement. Hell, I didn't like Smallville until my brother made me watch it, and now it is my favourite show. A lot of people can brand that as "following."
What I mean is... well, when I was in high school, a lot of my friends were listening to bands like Korn, and Limp Bizcuit, and Fear Factory. I was listening to Radiohead, 311, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Our Lady Peace... as well as the punk that is aforementioned. There were more, but lets keep this simplified. Besides, I want to keep the list of other bands I mention in the Simple Plan thread a minimum.
... Simple Plan are a different version of punk... there are better punk bands out there. Look to influences. thumbsup
