What's with the "Not My President" avatar? You're from Portland, Australia. Are you just pointing out randomly that Bush obviously isn't your president because you live in Australia? Or are you an American living in Australia?

i'm living in Aus, born in Aus. you see, our Prime Minister John Howard has his tounge firmly placed up George W. Bushes anus, doing anything he can to make George like him more. he might as well be our president while we have Howard as our PM. so i have that Avatar to show that i think George W. is the worst thing that's ever happened to the planet and that i dont agree with him on basically any subject. also if any world leader with Nukes is going to ruin M.A.D, its gonna be him. i have the Not My President t-shirt too

Me too!!! George W. Bush is an *******!!! Someone should throw a pie in his face or something like someone did to Jean Chretien (sp?) back in the day. I didn't like him either, he was a stupid frenchy that didn't know shit!!! Canada is ruled by French politicians (the Liberal party) and we really need to change that because it sucks ASS!!!
Anyways, I would consider Simple Plan pop-rock. They are not pop-punk or punk period. They are pop-rock like Good Charlotte, Evanescence, Blink 182 and all those bands that everyone LOVES to make fun of.
Michael- Slipknot most certainly is not a bad band. Even though the Slipknot guy bashes the hell out of SP, I have to say something about that. Slipknot does have good songs and they have some pretty good musicians. As for the other bands...well I really don't care.
Alluneedisluv- The music video was SO awesome. I love how they just totally crash that formal reception and totally ruin everything! David when he kicks down the ice sculpture of the swan or whatever it was was so great! It was awesome and don't let these guys get you down. They just love witnessing girls get all pissed off for god knows what reason...lol. I love Simple Plan too and they are in fact my favorite band. If that means I'm screwed and have serious issues...so be it. Simple Plan's music makes me happy and there's nothing these ****ers can say that will ruin that!!! Go me!!! haha...jk

Funny thing about that though, is the fact that The Sex Pistols and The Ramones are, or at least were, talented bands.

Simple Plan are a marketing gimmick. Shouldn't even be in the catagory of band.

Well, we think that they are talented bands. There people out there that 'think' Sex Pistols and The Ramones are a bad band as there are people that think they are good. You say they are good and WE say that Simple Plan are good. It's the exact same situation but a whole different band. If you say you're right for both of them...I could really care less. I think that Simple Plan is good and if you don't, you have your opinion and I can't change that opinion. You keep believing what you believe and I still won't give a shit...but good for you.
