you cant say that they dont have talent..you havent even heard all their songs anyways. I dont think they're trying to be nothin their not. I could give you the website where Pierre says all the stuff about labels and what they're trying to become and stuff like that if you watch "egos and Icons" you'll see that they arn't trying to be something they're not..trust me. They get attention because they've worked really hard to get where they are so they desverve it. I dont care you dont like them and they arent you type of music but stop saying that they're talentless.

also why do you guys need a label? why does it matter if Simple Plan is pop-punk? why is it such a big deal?

They aren't completely talentless.. they have enough talent to play music which is more than I can say. They just don't have enough talent to make what I would consider GOOD music. In my mind they're mediocre.. nothing more nothing less.

If you like them that's fine but you might as well quit defending them to every person that bashes them in here.. is it really worth the effort? When you like a band like Simple Plan people are going to take every shot they get at the band so you can either bust your ass trying to defend them from the dozens of people who put them down or you can stop worrying about other people's opinions and just ignore the negative comments made. Cause all the defending in the world isn't going to stop the bashing. KMC hates pop music... ain't nothing gonna change that.

I have heard Simple Plan stuff and I've seen them on TV during my occassional watchings of it. They're trying to look like they're not being something they aren't. Wearing all black, dyed hair, eyeliner. It's more played than Street Fighter 2.

It's not about them not being Hardcore enough. Green Day are NO Mastodon, but I love them. Why? Coz they're talented, make great music and know where the line is between making accessible music and compromised pop bullshit.

Can technical-it up all you want, fact is:

Simple Plan are a bunch of lames.

End of story. They make music. So did Busted. The commonality? They both completely suck.

Spineless, soulless corporate little whooping boys.
