Is Anakin ready to embrace the dark side? He will be between Padme and Power, and choose the "Pawa" path? I still remind lucas saying that "Anakin was 'tricked' to choose the dark side" How it comes? He will be the ally of the one who plots the surrender of the galaxy... th one who made his wife's worst dream come true.

I hadnt heard this about Anakin being tricked. Can you find the link to that please, I find that interesting.

Hmm, I definitely agree that Palpy would have been in on it. He was the master mind to the whole plan. Perhaps Anakin may never catch on?

yeah palps is in on it i remember palpy saying she is young and naive to gunry but i dont think he knew how much fight there was in her

at the start of aotc palpatine says that he would hate to see anything bad happen to padme, and then looks like he's gonna puke....he hates her bad, and wishes she was well dead.....anakin will be furious when he comes to and realises the truth, but where else can he go?....the jedi are all dead, so he can either join palpatine, and be the second most powerful person in the universe (and he does so love the power), or he can go die in the gutter....there is also still the small matter of whether it is only palpatine/ the darkside that is keeping him alive at all...."only now, at the end, do you understand".....

It's a big fat mess.

This is what Lucas gets for having almost every character (even seemingly unrelated characters from the OT like C3PO) related/someones cousin/older master/maker(wtf).

Fans will pick it apart - why? Because it deserves to be picked apart. These movies are supposed to be perfect with all that money thrown into them.

"Movies aren't ever perfect" I hear some cry many a time on this board, but the truth is, the new Star Wars movies aren't even close to being acceptable in terms of plots and everything that has gone before it, and the fact that half the EU explanations are way better anyway. At least they didn't have us believe Darth Vader built C3PO.

Jango instructed the 'changer' to kill padme, jango was hired by dooku who worked for sideous/palpatine

I don't think Anakin really gets it till the end,ROTJ. I think that there's a lot going on in his mind because of finding out that he has kids. The emperor is so cocky at this time that I don't think he thinks Vader can think for himself. He thinks he is totally loyal to him. That's when I think Vader starts to put 2 and 2 together and it equals the emperor. I think that's when he finally figures it out and will not take it anymore. He had a hand in the death of his wife and now will be doing away with his kids as well. Vader didn't kill the emperor, Anakin did.

yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss i agree with darth daddy my sentiments exactly... and who ever bashed the preequal trilogy up there should not consider them selfs a fan. any true star wars fan loves all that is involved with the unaverse of star wars picking apart movies is fun but if u don't like a star wars film then ur not a star wars fan..... unless ur talken about the kids movies about ewokes and such

I thought most people already understood that Anakin killed Palpatine, not Vader. It's not impossible, but I'd be dissapointed in Vader/Anakin if it took him that long to figure out all that. It does make sense though...

yeah yeah screw u i love all that is star wars flaws are part of the picture the OT has its flaws aswell but if u can say that u dont like one of the movies becouse of its flaws then ur not a fan of star wars ur just a fan of the OT
