most marines i know would never respect or follow someone like him in real life especially him being an army officer who didnt earn his rank or status

yes, in real life a marine would not follow or obey any order from another branch officer unless specifically ordered to do so and placed under his command from a marine officers command and even then it would be very uncomfortable for a single army cat to lead or work alongside a unit of marines....
if Cap could slice a truck with a shield throw they would respect him to an extend on the same hand if marines found out how he came by said skills he would be looked down on...
military attitude is u earn ur place and rank its not given to you especially if u didnt earn it like cap did.....
favortism and nipitism will get u shun in the military....
if in real life ppl heard caps ideals at 1st might be looked foundly it would then start looking as insubordination for refusal to perform certain orders given to him...
military personnel would want to kick his @SS every chance they get especially in MA training session...
frank refusing to hit cap was complete and utter bull that goes against how marines are trained to respond under certain perimeters.

He doesn't actually kill Red Skull in these scans, but it's only because it turned out to be a robot double both times(Cap didn't know that though)...

You do realise that if other people like Batman, or Iron fist had Caps conidtion that they wouldnt be able to learn martial arts either right? Not without some artificial means.
What on earth are you talking about he helped save WW2 and has saved the earth on numerous ocassions. GTFO.

i was responding to blanket and questioning the major pis that follows cap in comics and his absurd ideals that wouldnt fly in the real world whatsoever, and if u think i am wrong then u obviously dont know military protocol and procedures..

I think marnies would respect him, he ws given a gift, and he used it to save the lives of fellow soldiers, whats not to respect? Fighting side by side with him, bleeding with him and having him save your life and never ASKING for respect would be grounds for respect imo, regardless of how he got the gifts he has, it;s what he uses them for that get him the respect.

Dont give me that nonsense. Im talking about human nature. Cap is a soldier like the marines they will obvoulsy respect somebody who has risked lives time and time again to save others.

i am talking as a prior marine and view of how some of my fellow marines would laugh at army cats with captain america shield on their sleeve...
most of us marines have trained our bodies for combat condition we have bn in combat or practice over and over skirmishes for that eventuality...
ive showed friends scans and comics of captain america and his corny views and behavior and all of my non comic reading friends laugh and think he is retarded.... and point out "he had to be army" as a obvious put down...
as a old school combat vet yes, he has earn all our respect... as a leader of marine no he hasnt nor would he...
any marine that would follow one of his orders on a marine military base without getting explicit confirmation from a marine superior would more then likely be under for a courtmarshal...
remember u cant respect a fictional character and captain america is an army representative and has very little respect to actual marines as a symbol for what it is to be a marine technically caps ideals dont mesh with marine standards....
technically cap doesnt meet the marine standard....
thousands of marines earned their physical conditioning and are more deserving then cap with decades worth of MA skills..... also being a supersoldier candidated doesnt mean u severely outclass all military personnel and units....
so their would be many ppl who have contempt for cap as their are marines who have it now...
