None at all, I just think it's fairly obvious that the fan who rotoscoped it (since as we know the original picture isn't rotoscoped) got it wrong. 🙂

What more can be said about a promo photo of a character holding lightsaber that hasn't already been covered my friend? Sorry for butting in. Perhaps the weight of this important issue should be addressed in own thread. Or even its own site altogether. Silly me, I was just coming here to joke around and look at Star Wars pictures.

The issue is whether the lightsabre has been rotoscoped the correct colour or not in an "Other Finished Shot". This is an "Other Finished Shot" issue by any definition.
Also, considering the thread is cluttered a lot of posts not being screenshots of any kind, I don't see what the difference is? Im talking about the shots just like anyone else.
But if the argument continues, I'll move it to another thread (if there's any substantive argument besides "you're wrong", that is...)

Seriously, this will be the last time I say anything about it. That saber looks NOTHING like Vader's. That's all the proof needed. No black plastic anywhere that I see. I see exactly the features on Luke's saber. But my problem with your post was that you already knocked the person who added the effect on it like you were the all-knowing saber expert, yet you're 100% wrong about it. The picture you provided looks nothing like the one Anakin is holding. It doesn't just look like Luke's, it is Luke's! You'd think that anyone who comes in and makes such a bold statement would actually know what they're talking about. You don't. So, keep on thinking you're right if you want to. The few people here who care know that you're wrong. Say all you want after this. I'm done with the topic myself.

The top of the sabre is black, not silver. This is obvious to anyone that can differentiate the two. And if there's no black plastic anywhere that you can see, how exactly do you know that it's Luke's sabre at all, since Anakin/Luke's sabre has black plastic grips near the base, just like Vader's? Needless to say, these grips are the same colour as the top of the sabre. I guess those grips are really silver, because of the lighting. 🙄

Which wasn't the point of posting it- the point was to demonstrate how irrelevant your posting of a replica of the ANH Vader sabre was, since they change every film, and I was going from vader6.jpg. Which you never responded to. What a surprise.

Concession Accepted. As I expected, you had no meaningful response whatsoever, you just decided to repeat your opinions as fact yet again. At no point did you answer any of my criticisms. I mean, Jeezus, you can *see* the very same notch on Vader's lightsabre per Ep 3 in your own signature. The comedy just writes itself- or is it "lighting" on that sabre too and he really is holding a red bladed version of Anakin's sabre? 🙄
I'm done as well. Considering that out of the both of us my post is the only one that says something more substantive than "you're wrong", I'm quite confident that I'm correct.
