There has to be a lot more of the promo shots out there with a similar gray background. It seems like a lot of the print promos we've seen have involved these pics in some form or another. one that comes to mind is the burger king press release. I'm wondering where all the sigs are...maybe i'll make one myself.
kremzike, stating your position as a fact is not an argument. I extensively justified my position (i.e. your lighting argument is patently silly on its face and its similarity to old props is irrelevant compared to its similarity to the observed Episode III prop).
Your just saying "you're wrong" and then attaching a pithy insult notwithstanding, it looks nothing like Anakin's/Luke's sabre, and unless you can prove my above points wrong (rather than just saying so, as if your assertion carries the weight of law or something), what I said stands. It's just that simple.

Your just wrong... its Anakins... his is the only one with the "fin"
I've already dealt with those points. Firstly, the sabre Vader is holding in the ep 3 promo pics posted earlier also has that notch, yet it is clearly not Anakin's sabre, for obvious reasons. You also have no workable explanation for why the emitter and the protrusion are obviously black plastic, not metallic silver. It is obviously not Anakin's/Luke's sabre, no matter how many times you go on about the fin which looks nothing like that on Luke's.
