amazon picture of a german e3 encyclopedia...

Erm, that picture is freely available on SW.com - in English. It's the German edition of the Episode III Visual Dictionary, by James Luceno.

No it doesnt.
The only picture availble is

Its much smaller/lower resolution and the cover got a different look (look at the english "crab/ani" and the german "droid/ben". also grievous eyes/neck are not the same)

the symbols on the picture top middle are unknown to me? does anyone recognise some of them?

Bah, all I remembered was Grievous. It's still the Visual Dictionary though, just a different publisher (presumably for Germany, Australian editions of the Visual Dictionary, Incredible Cross Sections and Inside the Worlds for the films are all by DK). I bet that the German one is actually an earlier draft, the Visual Dictionaries do not use art, it only uses completed film shots (the DK books are the only SW books I collect, besides the novelizations of course).

stop moaning. better resoultion pics are always liked...

the problem with this thread isn't the silly squables as much as how EVERY SINGLE DAMN pic is now put in here.... do you people even see the title of the thread?? how does a toy that is NOT finished, or a dozen other shots that have complete bluescreen backgrounds fall into the "finished shots" thread?? please do tell me!!
