I think I might have found a hole in the plot. If the trade federation uses droids, then why do they need to pressurize the hanger bay? Anakin and Obi should be wearing space suits.

yea but you forget there are creatures on the ship too, the Niemodians, and other separatists that are not droids, and geonosians. they would not be very good hosts if they didn;t account for the oxygen breathers of the galaxy
