Interesting that JG says "I think" in this one though.
Is the facade starting to crumble?

What facade? I really don't understand what people's big gripe is with Josh. Perhaps you'd prefer he told us nothing? He's given us alot of very good spoilers and I find it rather hypocritical to post one of his spoilers and turn around and make a disparaging comment about him in the same post. 😑

All I know is GL said in star wars insider 79 all fighting at beginning it is gushy in middle and even more fighting at the end so it should be dark film like JP said.

Got a new one from Josh.

"This is your chance!" But Palpatine wasn't afraid. Mace could feel it - it seemed as though he wasn't worried at all.

AND he also confirms the Death Star is in the movie, if that means anything to anyone. I thought we already knew it was in the movie???

Sorry, JP - bad choice of words on my part.

I simply meant that for the first time he said "I think" which probably means nothing, I know.
But it kind of suggests he is not 100% sure on this one.
His personal pool of spoiler info may have dried up.
He may have given us all he personally knows.

What I was getting at was that JG, Ternian and Spoileriffic seem to be pooling resources at the moment, suggesting none of them knows the whole story.
I was just commenting that they actually seem to be getting their info in dribs and drabs then passing it on to us as a team now - I wasn't knocking JG at all, just suggesting this may be something he isn't sure on yet.

FWIW - I accept everything those three have said so far as fact.

Latest developments at MF.COM imply they have finally gathered together everything they know so far and are happy to pass it on to us.

They're doing great work - respect!

Apologies if I gave the wrong impression.
😄

I think there are certain people that somehow or other have an "in" with someone at LFL. DOnt know what it is, but I am glad they choose to share what little bits and pieces that they do.

Same here.

Like I said, apologies for what I implied - I just felt it was unusual that JG stated something as if it was opinion rather than fact.
Probably just a figue of speech...
old data...
pay it no mind...

Hun you had me at bad choice of words on my part..... 😉

SPOILERS from tfn

hey guys i was just over at tfn and theyve updated theyre just the fact section , theres nothing mindblowing in there but there are a few things that i was unaware of such as ...

In Episode III, we'll see R2-D2 get into a scrap with meaner, tougher robots. This scene spotlights the more versatile digital model of Artoo. - OS

"Artoo is an action hero in this one. He's Arnold Schwarzenegger this time. He's really tough and beats up a few battle droids. And, he saves the heroes again many times." - GL

Animation of General Grievous and Obi-Wan Kenobi engaged in a bare-knuckle brawl is being developed and approved. - OS

Rob's guess to when we should see the first images of Grievous in action would be the trailer. - RC

if i find anything cool i'll let you all know
cheers

Interesting. The R2 thing sounds somewhat retarded but It will be good I guess when I see it.

I can hardly wait to see Grievous in action.

Thx for the spoils. 🙂

there are a few more little things at tfn , you dont have to read it all tho its good they way they have it set out all the new stuff is in blue text and at the bottom of the page , as i said theres nothing mind blowingly huge just lots of little stuff

Thanks... but this would have been a better place to post this...

a few more , enjoy !

There are about 5,000 ships in the opening space battle, not counting the starfighters. - OS

The Trade Federation vulture droids, as seen in Episode I, will be seen to turn, fold, and transform on screen -- a functionality incorporated into their design for Episode I, but something we haven't yet seen on the big screen. - OS

In one scene, Obi-Wan's starfighter comes to an abrupt stop. It's cockpit canopy springs open and Kenobi somersaults out and through the air, landing in a combat stance. He begins whirling his lightsaber around him, slicing through battle droids. Obi-Wan's hood will be up in this sequence, with his face shadowed. - OS

A new sequence has been added to the script, an exchange between Anakin and Mace. This scene was originally set in the Jedi Council, but was transplanted to a new environment, the never-before-seen gunship hangar bay of the Jedi Temple. - OS

The aft section of the new Venator-class Star Destroyer more closely resembles the Republic craft, while its midsection and front resemble the Imperial Star Destroyers of the OT. - PH

The InterGalactic Banking Clan has new combat ships sporting a rather honkin' huge gun. - PH

The entire elevator sequence aboard the Trade Federation cruiser had to be re-edited so that the door is no longer sliced through by a lightsaber. Instead, Obi-Wan and Anakin now emerge from a normal sliding elevator door. - OS (im thinking maybe this is from the new pic of obi , anakin & battle droids maybe *shrugs*)

Five Jedi extras fill out a scene with Obi-Wan and Yoda. In this scene, Yoda says, "The time for attack has come, Commander." - OS

In one scene, Anakin sits in Yoda's quarters, talking about matters pressing heavily upon his shoulders. Yoda's advice is very similar to his original speech to young Anakin in Episode I. Yoda speaks to him about attachment, possession, premonition and mortality. Anakin sits on a big circular chair. Shadows are cast on their faces from the blinds. - OS

There will be surprises in the film, but nothing on the scale of a "Sixth Sense/Unbreakable/Usual Suspects/Arlington Road/etc." twisty type of ending that forces you to go back and rewatch the whole movie from a new perspective. - PH

"The first hour of the film is all fighting. The last hour of the film is all fighting. The middle is the gushy stuff." - GL

good stuff !

crap ! sorry Anakin2Vader , how do you go about getting a merge

Just PM a Mod And ask them to do it.... Nice find though.

Merged.

Somehow one never imagined that the Jedi Temple had a gunship hangar bay...

Yea! However they did show it in the deleted scenes for ATOC. Mace and Obi-Wan walked through it on the way to an exterior landing platform just before he left for Kamino.

anakin fullfilling his nightmares about padme soudns quite like the odypuss motive
the oracle told young parents that their newborn is someday going to kill his father and marry his mother, so out of fear they gave it away. many years later the new grown man sees his father and kills him, because he doesnt recognize him, in an arguement, and then meets his mother and marrys her.

self-fullfiling prophecy. same as "the one who brings balance to the force" by killing all remaining jedi and sith
