I think Sanji probably just told him to play dead when they were being attacked so they wouldn't have to bother with fighting them. Seems like something Sanji would do in Nami-Swan's body. 😛

The Yeti Cool Brothers being kind of pussified compared to their previous showings is the only flaw, but Law's apparent plan to take down a Yonkou redeems it.

So lets see...who would Law want to kill?

Big Mom would be an awfully convenient choice, since Luffy has pissed her off so I'm hoping not her.

Kaido would make for something interesting since he is the most mysterious. But it would suck for him to be beaten before Big Mom so I dun like that.

Blackbeard would also be interesting but something tells me Law is not stupid enough to try and fight the guy who has all the power of Whitebeard.

So the other option is Shanks. Law was observing him at the battle and, discounting the variable of Shanks having a past with Law, he saw that the guy was missing an arm. He certainly seems like the weakest to an observer.

I think it would be cool for Shanks and Law to fight.

Five bucks says it is indeed Shanks.

Kaidou I doubt Law would want to **** with at the moment, he seems to be the most ruthless and cruel of the Yonkou.

Speaking of Kaido, wonder how that whole thing with X Drake worked out?

Well Shank definitely appears to be the most tame of the four as far as power and personality.

It might be Big Mom, as we know shes gunning after Luffy atm.

Research? The only people that seem to know about Luffy's connection to Shanks is Garp and Sengoku, probably. The only thing that might lead to this connection is the fact that Buggy gave him his hat back but I dunno if Law saw Shanks give it to Buggy so I dunno.

Yeah, he's probably taking on Shanks, considering their past story. This is interesting because IF Law knows about the relationship between Shanks and Luffy, it would explain why he saved him, but it would be unlikely for him to think Luffy would team up against Shanks. Not because of Luffy's history with Shanks -they may still fight, just not on a particularly vicious way-, but because Luffy doesn't do team ups as far as we know.

Right, like that time he teamed up with Jinbei, or the Impel Down inmates. Those times didn't happen. Nope.

Actually you're right, the problem is more about planning to take down a guy. Luffy barely plans, let alone to meddle in something that has no inmediate consequences for him and his friends.
