Lol at the backstory between Garp and Don Chinjao.

The chapter was good. The ending was really cheesy and easy to see coming but it works. And now the plot is progressing more.

That backstory was hilarious.

At least now his wanting the Mera Mera makes sense: he could melt the ice to get his treasure.

Speaking of Garp, the revolutionary army need to make an appearance this arc. The setting should be perfect. Hopefully soon.

The drill head story is amazing.

This was really the kind of thing I was expecting/hoping for when they first enter the New World!

Ew, his body is so freakishly disproportionate (his lower half is tiny) that I don't even wanna think about him doing sex stuff. Is gross. 😘

Sometimes the ridiculous continuity on this series makes all worthy.

I didn't actually see Bartolomeo at Logue Town in the original chapter.

Granted now Bartolomeo is...weird.

Holy crap guys...I think Aokiji is trying to join the Blackbeard Pirates.

I think Bartholomeo didn't appear back in the day, but it's still a pretty nice use of continuity (like when Sanji met Duval).

Yes, kind of wonder what the BB pirates were all about.

Sanji meeting Duval was still bar none the best joke of the series and if you disagree than I support your right to do so. uhuh

Still I do wonder why the Blackbeard scene was there? It's AWESOME to catch a glimpse of him even if it's just his Denden Mushi and voice but the thing could have been cut. I suppose it must be to foreshadow Aokiji becoming a pirate(Aokiji for FINAL VILLAIN!).

If you come to think of it, it serves as an actual foil for Luffy when it comes to get the Mera Mera fruit, it kind of raises the stakes.

I think the correct term is 'The feeeeeels!'

This was the top chapter this week for me. I guess I'm a big softy who really felt for that backstory.

If Rebecca would wipe that sad look off her face and actually looked like she had a ton of resolve I might agree.

Robin had a tougher life than just about anyone but she never went around frowning like a sad sack like Rebecca here.

I think its a bit different to be hearing thousands of people scream at you in hatred and wishing you'll die. :T

Besides, its not like Robin is some goldstandard where you must measure up to or you suck. Not everyones as badass as her clearly.

I expect this block to be the craziest fight as of yet.

No not really since everyone wanted Robin dead. And it's not like Rebecca is facing anything Bartolomeo hasn't already.

Nah she is. She's pretty much the gold standard of characters with sympathetic back-stories as far as the Big Three go. And Rebecca's story is really more akin to a Jinchuriki of Naruto and well even most of them didn't walk around with their hearts on their sleeves like Rebecca.

Why? The only people we know are Cavendish and Rebecca. Did the D block look interesting(<-not looking forward to another block personally)?
