Spoiler:
Don Chinjao vs Luffy is still going on only now Oda is breaking it up with other things...not Law's situation of course. But Don Chinjao knows Rayleigh(not that shocking) and is crying over his treasure.Sanji and Kinemon are watching the fight.
But the part that makes me sad: the toys are in fact caused by a DF user under the orders of Doflamingo.
I really don't want the last part to be true.
I don't like the toys being humans. The One Piece world is way cooler if there was just an island of sentient toys for no reason.
Also that wife/mother is kind of a ****ing *****.
"Nah I was never married."
You *****! The girl with the boyfriend I get since that is not as committed but that's your husband! He was turned into a dog because of an insane bastard! How could you deny he ever existed!? D:
Also 10 years doesn't seem long enough for people to just forget who was turned into toys imo.
You're right that it was better having sentient toys just because its One Piece but I'd rather deal with **** moms and kids then the Fodder vs Fodder tournament that's going on.
Least now I have something I can pretend to give a shit about.
Oh and I'll just give the story the benefit of the doubt and guess that the side effect of being turned into a toy makes everyone forget you were a human or some shit like that

Dude, I think its obvious that they're being made to forget somehow. Toy Soldier asked the boy if he had a father and he said no. You can't naturally forget that you have a dad.
I...honestly just assumed Doflamingo had him turned into a toy while his wife was pregnant or when he was a baby.
But if that were true why would Rebecca remember?
Turns out my hunch was completely true.
Jola was the one who turned the other humans into toys.

Looking at what Jola did to Nami, Chopper, Brook, and Sunny,
I think she's the one responsible for turning people into toys in the Toy Kingdom like what happened to that soldier related to Rebecca.
My other guess is very plausible, too.

It seems like Doflamingo and the rest of his Family are World Nobles/Celestial Dragons.
