Why should anyone at this point believe DoFlamingo will keep true to his word? They have literally no reason to trust him.I hate Dressrosa.
DoFlamingo seems to have an increible charisma, his close servants are entirely devoted to him. Also it's not as if they had any other choice, you seem to suggest people sould sit down and get murdered instead.

Or they could capture the people going crazy with sheer numbers, tie them down, and then wage war on Doflamingo. Any other course of action requires them to trust the guy they have multiple reasons to distrust.

Yeah, its desperation. People do this stuff all the time.Anyway, lmao at poor Ussop. Luffy was cool this chapter too. It was a pretty great set up chapter imo.
Desperation is one emotion. Where is the outrage at being lied to all this time and having their memories messed with?
Yeah Usopp is getting a raw deal. Luffy is indeed awesome for not caring that this means war with Kaido.
Hoping for Sabo vs Fujitora though. Granted I'm still not sure why Fujitora is not stomping Doffy's ass since the guys main thing so far is a hatred for the Shichibukai system and this is perfect justification.
Between confronting Doflamingo and capturing everyone else, the citizens feel its easier to go with the latter, and I'm sure some of them are just plain hoping to find their king.
The fighters sailed from who knows what hole of hell to get their hands on the mera mera, jumping at the chance for an early retirement isn't surprising at all.
That's how I'm seeing at least.
Also, I'm not sorry for Usopp at all. His face is too priceless not to just laugh my ass off. Been a long time since I saw one of Oda's classic "Oh shi-" faces. haermm All in all, good chapter.
The problem is simple: there really should not be a choice. Doflamingo is a proven liar who gladly enslaves people and messes with your memories while making you kill your loved ones. Anyone with an iota of thought can deduce that this guy isn't likely to keep his word and pay you a shit ton of cash.

They don't need to trust DoFlamingo to obey him. The idea of a reward will also muddle the motives of everyone, further empowering DoFlamingo's position despite the fact he's ruling through fear.
If you compare this kind of thing with real life it makes perfect sense, DoFlamingo loses nothing with his statements and Oda was quick to show the population is wary of him.
Wow Luffy. Way to be a dick. I hope Zoro vs Fujitora is actually happening. Sabo can take Pica. Or reverse it. Itching for the fights.
Also is it me or does Pica seem far and away the strongest under Doflamingo? Like Trebol and Diamanté combined still fail to hold a candle to him. And Doffy loves his crew. D'awww. :3
Fujitora is an idiot though.
Hah, I like this chapter!
Of course the big guns wouldn't fall for such a simple bounty. And of course they'd be distainful of any former-toy who would.
So rather than being the 'have to deal with all the small fry' I was somewhat worried about, it's Luffy and a whole *possy* heading for the prize!
I only hope it doesn't devolve into another drawn-out situation.
In hindsight this page is very sad.
I watched the anime up to the time-skip many years ago, but the put it off due to...Well, I didn't like it as much as I did when I first started when I was younger.
Now, I'm reading the manga, since people say it is much better than the anime. I'm on chapter 232 atm, and so far I don't really see much of a difference beyond that it looks better.
Though this time around I am appreciating stuff I didn't like when I was watching the anime.
