I am curious as to the thing with the name D now. Oda needs to explain stuff faster!

Good chapter at least, but the fact it's promising many battles yet to come makes me dread how long this arc will last.

LOL at Senior Pink shielding a cat and everyone crying over his sheer manliness. What a great character.
Seriously, he is a great character.

He was slim and "well dressed" in the flashback but apparently chose no to conform to anything other than his own personal standard of style and physique later in life. Like he transcended standard conventions and he's winning.

Takes a bikini top off to wipe his face off and he dresses like a baby......I kinda wish he was a strawhat

Good to see the coliseum people again, I was bored of Law already.

Bellamy is awesome ermm

Bellamy should've had more of this chapter, I don't even really remember the others ^^;;

Popularity- no big surprises in the top ranks.

Weird ones to me- Pel's at 43, above Kizaru. How did a minor person from a dozen arcs ago get so high...?

He can fly silly.

How did Boa get a higher rank than Robin? And how is Rebecca so high up?

When's the last time Robin did anything? 🙂

And I notice that power / 'eliteness' helps popularity in Japanese polls. Hype up someone as really 'elite' and they'll get votes (Prince of Tennis famously had one rival who was hyped as elite, didn't honestly have that much arc or depth, but he became *really* popular so he got to show up again later on).

Finally, Robin's a more mature, serious character. No surprise she gets a bit lower, though still quite high.

And how is Rebecca so high up?

A current focus of the story.

The same reason Luffy was number one. There are a lot of tasteless individuals. Especially in Japan.

Thank's to Q's explanation I can kind of get why Boa's higher though I still think its dumb.

Rebecca making the top 30, higher than Rayleigh no-less, makes **** all sense.

People are stupid and have short memories. She's part of the current arc, so she's popular.

Also consider the *primary* audience is kids. It's aimed several years younger than, say, Naruto. So, "cute girl who can fight but isn't too scary" may have some appeal.

Hell yeah Robin.

Yeah I know a character just got shown up by a Straw Hat but it is Robin. She never gets stuff to do.

Dang, Robin *finally* gets to do something cool in this part and it's pretty sweet!

So you guys say Robin, but you obviously meant "Hell yeah Cavendish!".

Is it me or there was a heavy forshadowing about Cavendish and Bartholomeo teaming up in the future?

Nah they will team up again. They are the OTP of the story at this point.

Let alone Robin getting to shine, there was actually something interesting happening this chapter.

He's neat, but the chapter first showed that he's strong enough to take out an enemy commander, *and* is easily snagged by Robin!

Who seems to at least have held her #4 spot in the Strawhats.

Yeah, with those insane reflexes, she's prob #4 now. She could've squeezed Hakuba like a bug.
She probably mastered Observation Haki from Dragon or something.

Imagine if she had Armament Haki. She'd be a force to reckon with.

I think Cavendish will learn how to use this half-and-half thing to his advantage someday.

Bartolomeo's got a ways to go. He has to learn how to use multiple barriers simultaneously at once, and widen the surface area his barriers can reach.

Bartolomeo and Cavendish will likely be allies of the Strawhats in a future arc, just like Sai and the Happou Navy will be.

I think she must remain the #4, at least until Jimbei joins in.

Hakuba's speed is still superior to Robin's though. That's partly what makes her grab so much of a good feat.
