One Piece

Oda has managed to keep a series as long and intricate as One Piece the most consistently awesome manga on the planet. Compare the dungpile Naruto has devolved into, and you realise he sure as hell does not "suck".

Being a character that steals the talents of others is a perfect move in terms of making Blackbeard the ultimate foe of Luffy, a person who manages to befriend and thus be willingly given aid from others.

Brilliant move from Oda, as it also means that Blackbeard can justifiably be an unstoppable wrecking machine in a world as powerful as that of One Piece.

nah..if Blackbeard can really take as many ability as he want..i'm gonna say Oda suck..if he has a limit to how many he can use at one time..like maybe two including his darkness..then Oda is still the best mangaka..

I disagree on Naruto being bad, but sub 'Bleach' and I'll agree, and OP is still the best of the trio 🙂

Wonder who'll be responsible for taking Blackbeard out? I don't believe Luffy will be fit to fight anytime soon and everyone else seems to be freaking out right now. Akoji is annoying me right now but I can't say anything since I'm barely getting back into One Piece.

I doubt anyone's taking him how right now. He's got what he's come for, now he's likely to go after the OP rather than fight it out with the admirals.

Not sure if anyone has the power to take him out anymore honestly, if he has the same level of control with his fruit as Whitebeard did.

the guy still have a shitty defense..anyone with a devastating attack have a chance of beating him..Mihawk can beat him if he can pierce Blackbeard head..

He may have "weak" defense, but the motha****a can obviously take hits from the best of them and bounce back.

dude..ever heard of a plot??of coz he can't be defeated that easily in a manga..why did Whitebeard slash his shoulder??why not just cut his head in two??cuz then it'll be boring..that's what we call PIS..a character have the power to end a fight easily but they don't and start fighting stupidly..this is a forum..there are no plot here..i'm just stating a fact..if Blackbeard got stab in the head..he'll die 😐

magellan and G2 luffy were too fast for blackbeard which combined with a less than amazing defence would make me think some people will give him a fight.
Kizaru or akainu are strong nominees with very fast destructive attacks. Togetehr they'd destroy him IMO.

I've heard him described as a 'brick wrapped in a marshmellow'. Easy to hurt, hard to put down.

Still, if you're hurting him, eventually you'll win.

Blackbeard is physically very strong, has good natural defense, and now has two of the most powerful DFs, he is not being destroyed by any means.

So what's the World Government's plan of action now? I don't really expect them to give up and die nor do I see any pirates doing anything spectacular anytime soon(I could be wrong though). As for now I guess Blackbeard can do whatever he feels like huh? Well that sucks...but is kind of cool too.

It's fitting, what with him being one of the IRL infamous names in piracy, and he even achieved his power as I imagine a traditional pirate would. That beings said, I hate him with a fiery passion.

Well, they still have three admirals and the Fleet Admiral. I imagine they'll try and capture what they can of the present pirates, while the pirates try and escape. It'll be tricky to get pirates, since both crews are still strong and the effort'll be divided.

Once the escape happens, I think the Government will scramble to increase it's strength and buckle down in preperation for war/whatever Blackbeard has planned next. I bet Crocodile'll get his Shichibukai slot, just because they need the ranks filled with strong fighters so badly.

Luffy'll escape with the Whitebeards, then make it back to the others, then Fishman island. Likely with Jimbei.

Also, did anyone notice that Zoro and Chopper met up?
