Yeah, Luffy was awesome this chapter. He's just so superior to shitty Ichigo and getting better but still kinda naff Naruto.

I dunno. I personally dislike him saying "I'm no hero" when he's been a hero throughout the story. The only villainous things he did that I can recall was releasing the prisoners of Impel Down. And that was pretty indirect.

Then again, that statement was in Fishmen Island. And fvck that noise, we're in the New World.

Wouldyou look at that. Even if it is coincidence, my four favorite characters went exploring on the island. Robin's fanservice was hot BTW.

So should I be laughing or pitying Tashigi for getting the minimum respect from her felow marines?

Laughing, because Smoker is actually somewhat protective of Tashigi. They keep dissing her, he'll show them a thing or two. 😛

Man, the New World is ****ing dangerous. Why would anyone want to stay there? o.O

The casual way those marines were torturing pirates seemingly for fun is quite horrifying imo.

Luffy seems to think that being a hero would give him responsabilities he might not want to take, his piracy is all about freedom and adventure afterall.

It depends on the definition, the most classical conception of a hero takes from the founder of a town or the destroyer of monsters. Obviously Luffy is concerned by the second one, but he couldn't be more further from the fist one. He's the hero of the series and he's an heroic character of course, but he's also a criminal and quite violent, de has tried to steal treasure before, because he considers himself a pirate.

But, read an interesting theory concerning Punk Hazzard. Someone speculated that this is where Akainu and Aokiji had their big fight. Which is why one half is hot and one half it cold.

It is a good theory. But didn't they say it was closed after something that happened four years ago? Wouldn't that be before the combat Aikanu and Aokiji had? -unless of course they've fought before-

They might have fought there during the timeskip? I mean, if it's been closed off it's a perfect place for two monsters to have a brawl.

It probably isn't true. But it's a neat idea.

Mind you, Vivi and Jimbei are basically just members who have put off joining. They need to.

Vivi is going to be in the Reverie for plot reasons either during this timeskip or the next -if there is such thing-. She probably gets involved with a plot about the Pluto warship that is parked at her basement.

I'd assume that Jimbei is getting picked up when they head back or during the Big Mom fight.

So yeah, we'll see their ugly mugs again.

Probably. I hope. I like Vivi. And if Jimbei joined, I'd start to like him more. Though I think Jimbei will probably wait until that whole "Destroy Fishmen Island" thing is put behind them.

Yep, they'll probably destroy Fishman Island and raise the Arc when they return, it would be a good time to have Jimbei joining them imo. I have no idea when that will happen though.

You know who should be an Admiral? Magellan. Just so he can track down all the escapees. Save his honor and all.

And he is the only character that seems strong enough for the position. That I know of.

But Magellan would be the Nobles' personal ***** if he did that. Besides doesn't he actually have more freedom of sorts as Vice Admiral?

Magellan is pretty hax but he should have haki and stuff 😐

I'm grasping at straws. I literally have no idea who could take the two Admiral positions. Magellan is the only guy that seems strong enough.
