I like the adventure parts better than the set-up-plot chapters anyways.

Though I suppose Neph is right. This is a big moment. But I was teased with Tashigi and Smoker and I just really want to get the story to them as fast as possible.

Everyone just wanted this arc to end, I mean this really didn't need to be an arc IMO but just a cool looking pit-stop.

Even considering the teasing with Tashigi and Smoker, there needs to be a build up before they face each other. I like those two, but right now the SH outnumber them so much isn't even funny. I don't really expect them to fight a straight combat out in the sea -unless it used as a plot device so they crew is separed from Luffy/Zoro, but I'd assume Smoker would want to capture all the SHs-.

Wonder if Smoker has Haki now considering he's a Vice Admiral. I mean he's going to need something new now that Luffy can hit him. Er....Tashigi doesn't have such hope but I can be wrong.

I suspect we'll see other named Navy people consolidate under Smoker.

Or circumstances could lead to it just being Smoker vs Luffy and Tashigi vs Zoro. 😛

Where Smoker curbs Luffy and Zoro toys with Tashigi?

Yeah. Because that is the likely outcome.

And then the crew comes in to save the day.
