What do you think is the best metal band?

depends what you would define as metal. i would say either slayer or sepultra, but i dunno if you class them as metal

cradle of filth(black, gothic??)
children of bodom(death, black, melodic???)
cannibal corpse(death)
mortician(most brutal death metal band out there)
sonata arctica(melodic speed metal)
jungle rot(death)
gorerotted(grindcore)
napalm death(grindcore)
general surgery(grindcore)
carcass(death)
