Anti-vampires guild? The one with the Vampire leader Seridur?

Yea its not actually a guild, the only guilds are Fighters, Mages, and Theives, the anti-vampire faction is called Order of the Virtuous Blood .There are plenty of other Factions just not called guilds. On that note what rank is everyone in each of the different factions so far.

here is my list:
Fighters Guild: Master
Thieves Guild: Gray Fox
Mages Guild: Conjurer
Dark Brotherhood: Eliminator
Blades: Knight Brother
Order of the Virtuous Blood: Brother
Arena: Grand Champion
Knights of the White Stallion: Knight-Errant
Knights of the Thorn: Honorary Knight

Several of these you can not move up in rank in (not that i have seen so far at least) but with like the Order of the Virtuous Blood and the knights of the thorn you can bring certain items for money.

Oh yea also wheres everyone stand with Fame and Infamy im at 101 and 34

What does actually the Infamy do?
Currently 13 Fame and 4 Infamy

Does anybody want to help me with the last mission for the Theives Guild?

Spoiler:
I'm stuck at the part where you are in the bottom floor of the Elder Scrolls Library. You have to act like that girl, or whatever, and get the scroll you need. It says sit on the bench for visitors. Well, in the circular room that I'm at (the compass pointed me there) there's only one chair, and a blind priest sitting on it. I have no idea what to do!

are you sure you arnt like a level too low/high? You should have came into a room and then walked down a spiral type stair case to an empty chair.

as far as infamy goes:

* Infamy seems to have little direct effect normally, however it almost certainly plays some part in the disposition of characters you meet. Having an Infamy higher than your Fame seems to result in dislike/fear from most people you meet.

* Infamy also effects your abillity to use altars, if you try to use an altar with more infamy than fame you get a message saying, "Repent your sins, wicked one!". You can continue to use wayshrines outside of chapels regardless.

* Having a high Infamy, or similar Infamy to Fame, will also occasionally get the response "I've seen your type before, you've got blood on your hands you murderous bastard, keep your blade sheathed or I'll run you through myself" when talking to Guards.

-Also guards tend to hate you once you reach a certian infamy regardless of your fame. I have a very high fame overall, and its much higher than my infamy, yet most guards talk to be in negative tones. IM also a member of the Blades so really they should worship me. lol

I dont know if this has been addressed or not i havent exactly been here for the first 25 pages of posts so sorry if this has been said. I decided to get the game saturday night and it said on the reqs that all you needed was an Nvidia video card of atleast something like 4500. I have a 6400 i think or something close to that. The recommended was a 6400 or higher. I have a gig of ram as well. When i installed the game i pretty much couldnt move the mouse because my framerate was in the negatives. It was running everything on as low as it can with a screen resolution of like 640 by 450. So, i just wanted to know if any of the people here with it for Pc what video card you are using so i could upgrade to play the game seeing as where i dont have an xbox 360. Thanks.

Before u go and upgrade your computer u should try this site: http://www.srtest.com/referrer/srtest
Just select The Elders Scrolls IV. oblivion and run the test. That was how I found out what was wrong with mine (I hadn't updated my NVIDIA driver and the game was unplayable, now it runs smoothly).

50 hours seems far to late to reach the vmapirism stage of the game, but it really depends. With this game it doesnt really matter it all depends on what you foccuss on first. You can encounter vampires pretty quickly into the game, i know i sure did.

Indeed..you can visit any town you like after escaping from prison sewers. At first I didn't want to go inside the imperial city after breaking out of jail. I thought the guards would throw me back again. ๐Ÿ˜›

Finish the Vampire and unfriendly competion quests. I'm just starting The ninroot (sp?) quest to get the explorer potion. Question....I got 10 and do I really need to get 20? What happens? drink the position and the game expands? ๐Ÿ˜‰

I think the potion is overrated and not worth the effort

Spoiler:
Hmm... maybe I'm in the wrong place. My compass tells me to go through a door in this circular room (I don't believe I've gone down steps, but there is a blind priest sitting on a chair at the other end of the circular room, behind some bars.) However, when I try to open the door, it says something like "This door is opened elsewhere." And I don't know what to do from there.

Spoiler:
I figured out where to go. Now I'm in the room with all the priests, and the circular stairway leading down. Anyway, I go downstairs, go to the reading chair, and sit down. The objective box says something like "I've made my way to the right chair. Now I just have to wait for the scroll." Well, I wait a few moments, and a priest comes walking down the steps. He walks up to me, says "Hey. Look who it is." and then the music starts playing as if he's my enemy.

Anyway, my HUD is gone, and I can't sit up, open my journal or anything. I have no idea what to do.

the potion is a waste of time. After you give him 10 he will give you a weak potion and then tell you to give him 20 and then give you a strong potion and tell you to bring 30 for a superior one. Just grab nirnroots along your journeys i wouldnt waste time actively going for them.

The priest is supposed to give you something, when that happens (everything disappears and you cant move) it means theres supposed to be a scripted event, but something hasnt worked properly. There was a quest I did where I came out of a dungeon, and the event was that this orc had to kill an old man, then come and talk to me. The stupid orc didnt do what he was supposed to, and the old man killed him, so I was stuck. I had to reload a few times until the script worked properly.

Basically, just wait a few mins and see what happens, and if nothing happens, reload your game.

Well if u pass the minimum test then it should run perfectly, have u tried updating the driver? Go here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_84.21.html and download that thingy, worked for me.(if u have Windows XP though).

ive heard that final theives guild quest is bugged, and you acutally have to go back to before you enter the door with the arrow of extrifcation to reset it properly. id say if that doesnt work, use the console.

Im currently a Listener in the Dark Brotherhood and every week Im talking to the Lady in Bravil, when do I advance to a new rank/position? So far I have only 2 recruited members in the guild.

You cant advance anymore, you're the leader now. Its only for money now, but its only 200g for each job.

I downloaded this polymorph spell, turns any NPC into a sheep for 10secs like Warcraft ๐Ÿ˜‚

Go to the Edgar - Cheap Spells guy, and on a shelf theres a scroll that adds polymorph to your spell list.

Dude i've udated my drivers i do weekly because if i dont i cant play wow every day as i do or BF2. I am seriously stumped in this situation. I have windows XP i play battlefield 2 and wow on full everything all settings to the max and it runs as smooth as glass. Does anyone have any idea WTF is going on.???

You said you had a 6400? I had a 6600 and it ran pretty good on low-medium settings, just lagged a bit in framerates.
