OOC: lol...*ahem* Sorry for sorta screwin this storyline over, what with not postin anymore but here's something to make up for it:
Cree looked down to her hands. The lines and grooves of her palms and the manicured length of her nails. They were clean, as always. And yet, dirty, fouled. She had washed them several times, until her skin had started to grow shiny and red from the severity of it all, but it wouldn't go away.
'Calm down, Cree, just...just relax,' She looked up from her hands and up to the small white house she had arrived. She jogged up the walkway and slammed the brass knocker into the door for several minutes. It opened up finally to reveal a lady in a robe, her green eyes open in fear and several crosses around her neck. She stuck one out inches away from Cree's face.
Cree found she was dumbfounded, but it started to add up quite clearly. She lowered the lady's hand. "That's about as painful as the sunlight. And don't it feel good..." she said, putting on a fake smile as she stretched. "Now, the only thing that's kept me from striking you or doing something horribly wrong is the respect that I find I still have for your son, Sumner. However, you start doing that 'power of the Christ compels you' crap with the holy water and we WILL have some problems."
Cree tilted her head, glaring to the lady. The lady started to take out a vial but was quickly pushed aside to reveal a burly man with dark hair. He smiled to Cree nervously. "You'll have to excuse her. She's been a bit...er...sick lately. Anyways, Sumner's not home right now. So I guess you can call him or something. Okay then, bye."
Before she could comment, the door shut in her face. Cree nodded her head, temporarily forgetting her problems as she turned her head to the side. "I see how it is..."

Sumner lay with his eyes closed in his bed. It was late afternoon and his parents had just left the house. Currently, he felt as if he were on house arrest as it was up to the point where his parent's were so god damned paranoid that he couldn't even leave the house.
He pulled the sheets over his head and started to sleep, starting to dream but was interrupted from a sharp tapping on his window. He ignored it for awhile, but the tapping soon became persistent, to the point where he had a feeling the person doing it might break the glass. He threw off his sheets, his back to the window as he spoke in a loud tone. "Cree...is there any possible reason...on earth...that you are BANGING on my FREAKING window and didn't let yourself in through the Front door?!" He turned just as Cree jumped through his window.
Cree tilted her head and folded her arms with that same knowing smile. "Any reason why your mother has more crosses than a catholic store?" He flushed whereas Cree shook her head. "Take it something you're not telling me?
Sumner got out of bed, throwing on a pair of jeans. "Yeah, my parent's went f*cking nuts ever since they found out you were a vampire. And how was your day?" he asked with a sarcastic smile.
Cree walked over to him as he started to put a shirt on. She bit her lip. "Interesting..."
"So what are you doing here?" He placed the shirt over his head to see Cree was right in front of him. She looked up to him with a strange look in her eyes, then grabbed his face gently, giving him a small kiss.
She moved her lips across his cheek to his ear, moving her hands to his hair. "...Saying goodbye."
Sumner ran a hand through her crimson locks, pulling her to him and returning the kiss. He looked down to her with a worried expression in his eyes. "What's wrong? What's going on?"
While the two never really had anything going on, they had always been good friends...sometimes with benefits. He wasn't sure what was going on with her, but the kiss said it all. Something had happened...and there was more to their friendship than he had thought.
Cree smiled weakly as she looked back down to her hands. "It's...something. Yesterday, while I was at the parlor my bike got totaled and I had to have Michael-"
"Who's Michael?"
"Guy with one of the deepest lookin eyes I've ever met. Just a friend," she muttered, waving it off as she continued. "He drove me to school, but I really wasn't in the mood for class so I cut 1st period, hanging out by the parking lot. Anyway, these kids...two of 'em...they walked up to me and actually started to harass me, asking me where my bike was. They started to laugh...I knew. I just then knew...these little punk asses screwed with my bike,"
Cree looked to Sumner with a guilt filled expression. "You know, I never realized it. How much blood a human being carries....There was so much of it...on my hands...on my clothes...I went crazy. I killed them...both of them. I just..." Cree buried her face in her hands. "I f*cked up royally..."
Sumner blinked rapidly in his quiet shock. He couldn't believe what he'd heard, he wasn't sure if she was joking with him or if...he shook the thought from his head and placed a hand on her shoulder. He gently pulled her hands away from her face to see that she had started to cry, with a strange look across her face. He sighed, realizing it was true. "Cree...you know what's going to happen when the authorities find out. They'll-" He found he couldn't finish his sentence. He closed his eyes before looking back to her. "So what are you going to do?"
Cree wiped her eyes, then took a breath as she put on a small smile. "I should fight...or stay here and wait for punishment. But I can't...I...I just wanna get away. Far away from this place as soon as possible. I need your car...not unless you don't want any association with a murderer which I understand then I'll-"
"I need to find the keys." he interrupted as he started to look wildly around in his room. He turned to Cree. "Wait in the car. I'll be there in a minute, okay?"
Cree looked to him in surprise, then nodded her head as she headed downstairs to the parked black mercedes outside.
~~~~~~~~~~~~
'Where is he?' She glanced down to her watch. 'It's been a good ten minutes now. It doesn't take that long to find a pair of keys.' Just then, the thought that he might've called the authorities struck her mind. She widened her eyes and started to get out the car but mid-escape noticed him leaving the house with a black leather jacket and a huge black bag.
Cree looked to him confused, but he said nothing as he tossed the bag into the trunk. She sat back down into the driver's seat and raised an eyebrow as he came by to her window. "What, so along with being a killer, you want me to smuggle some illegal contraband for you?"
"Don't be a smart ass and also you're not a murderer. Accidents happen. Now move over," Cree looked to him completely bewildered. He rolled his eyes then smirked. "I'm going with you," Cree moved over to the passenger's seat in a sort of numb shock as Sumner sat down in the driver's seat. He gave her a weak smile. "That's what friends are for."
Cree felt her bottom lip tremble as she held back tears and gave a smile, hugging Sumner tightly. "Thanks...you should run away from me though. I mean, what if-"
"Accidents happen." he interrupted calmly as he started up the car. "Besides, you won't. I'm not your average human, remember? Think I'd just let you snap at me, you have another thing coming. Either way, I'm not leaving you. You're the only person I have..."
Cree bit her lip and nodded her head as she stuck out her pinkie. "Best friends till the end?"
He interlocked his pinkie with hers as he whispered. "Till death do we part..."
Cree sucked in her breath and nodded her head as she let go of his pinkie and leaned back in the chair, as he started to drive out of the city. Where would they go? She wasn't sure...to her it was the ending of a tragic tale...leading to the start of a new adventure...
((OOC: And that's my way of exiting this story! It was fun but I can't really come up for much with this. Oh, and for Shadow King, the one who controlled Michael, if ya want, your character can still live in Cree's mansion. As for me, I'm out. Have fun w/ the rest of your story peoples 😊 ))
Jason walked up to Michael. Ignoring Tara due to his worry he asked gurriedly, "Where's Troy? I saw him with you vamps and I know for a fact he would rather be caught dead." he asked scared that his friend had been turned. He swore if troy was hurt in anyway he would hunt down the vampire who did it and skin him alive before driving a stake through their heart.
