the buttons look as if they are the wrong way because in the original trilogy they often reversed shots just so the editing of characters talking to one another would look better from an audience perspective and for various other directing reasons.
you'll also notice that this happens to boba fett, with his wookie braids on different shoulders and also for Luke, with his hair parted on different sides. It's merely a reverse horizontal shot.

that was NOT his voice in the trailer, much like it was not his voice in the "alert my star destroyer to prepare for my arrival" added little tidbit in ESB SE
