Party Pooper PVS!!!!

pvs- i liked your old avator better. not that you really care much for my opinion prolly but i stand concrete.

yea i might need a nap after all this excitement. 😖leep: i promise that ill keep all my debates(with you at least) on a SW level.

So with that said, i think when he taps into the darkside, its just so strong and he's so strong WITH it, that it just eats away at him, like OB1 said in TPM, the form symbiant circle, (did i type that right?) he feeds off the darkside, and the darkside feeds off him, and in a way, making them both stronger.

exactly what i said.

k, I'm confused. They feed off each other & yet makes him deformed? If they do form a symbiant circle, wouldn't it be for mutual gain & not cause harm? I get that it feeds him 'spritually' so to speak, but why the defromity then? And what negative impact would he have on the force in this symbiosis?

and exactly wh at I said before, just reiterating it, since we got off topic for a couple min.

i hate how they explain the force in TPM. anyways, the poin tiss that he very well couldve been made evil looking by an evil surge which made him wrinkley and then the twenty years on top of that to make him even more wrinkley

see, i think the opposite.

the line that clues me in is "i'll be able to stop people from dying"
darth vader is a man who SHOULD be dead, but is kept alive by (imho) a combination of cyborg parts and usage of the dark side. i believe that line was put in there as a hint to the effect of the dark side...that through using it, one can cheat death. so perhaps sidious is not deformed, but just a really really really old walking talking breathing corpse...an abomination.

through EU and video games we are led to believe just the opposite, that using the darkside is what corrupts the body, so that would lead to the conclusion that the dark side shortens the life span, right? in canon though, we see no proof of this EU darkside corruption theory.

another thought:
anakin in ep6 looks like an old man with horrible battle scars and no hair. other than that, there is NOTHING deformed about him. after 25+ years of being evil...should he not be deformed as well?

well bilbo...what i meant was, we all know that Sidious/Palps gets his power from the darkside of the force, right? well what im saying is the force is feeding off of him to make itself stronger and recycle it back to him and vice versa, but since its taking it out of him, it causes him to look the way he does, BUT at the same time, it allows him to stay alive while being that old, deformed, decayed or however we can describe him, when it would probably kill the average joe.

I dint know if i explained that right or made it more confusing, but in essence, kind of like how Moses aged 30 - 40 years just by seeing a fraction of gods power, but at the same time, Moses was gaining all his "powers" from god, even though if he would have stayed longer or seen "more" of God, it would have killed him...know what im saying?

you had to pull the moses card didnt you? 😂

yeah..... 😂 but it fits dont it? 😉

Yeah, I get it Subjekt. & makes sense.

Ya know whats funny? I bet we've all spent 1000 times longer thinking about this than GL has!!!

yea probably..lol

i get what youre saying, but i think that we're looking into this a little too deeply.

thats what we do, right? wait shut up, me and bilbo are agreeing here! j/k space...

I'll just bet after all this Lucas doesn't explain ths nearly as explicitly as we want, I be he leaves more questions unanswered than answered

naturally

then i say we raid skywalker ranch and make him make-up answers if he doesnt already have them. but yea, i bet we'll have a lot of quetions. I know this has nothing to do with this particular thred but, I think th efirst time we see chewy, it should be when Han helps save him, thus showing how chewy ows him a life-debt. just my opinion

no no no no no

why not?
