Lars is kinda annoying but metallica wouldn't be anything without him and their newer albums weren't that bad- i mean come on, Sweet amber, St anger, Shoot me again, and Frantic tic tic tic toc 😛

ST. Anger is one of the shitties albums i have ever heard. Everything about this album is the somplete opposite of what Metallica used to be. I always liked and loved me some Metallica, but St. Anger just proves that metallica has nothing more to offer to anyone. There is not one good thing about that album

U are just generally negative, it wasn't as bad as u though u are just a dinosaur, and considering the album was made straight after all their problems..... it really wasn't that bad

dude, I'm not a dinosaur. I'm only 20. Seriously, when was the last time Metallica gave us anything new? It was with load and reload, which was nearly 7 years ago. Yeah we had garage inc. Which was nice, and set some of the best played cover songs, S&M was awsome, but wasn't anything new, just elaboration. So here we are seven years later. They finally decide to experiment with new material again. That's what they wanted to do, but all it really turned out to be was a less enthusiastic kill em all album. Their lyrics are bland and their guitar rifts and chords are repetitious crap. I'm a nutty bastard when it comes to Metallica, and am even one of the few that loved reload, but ST. Anger is just garbage. Maybe if it was there second album, but these are cats that have been around. St. Anger was nothing new at all, just recycled crap with poor tunes and even worse lyrics

I hate to be so critical, but it's hard to find good metal these days, and being hyped up so much only to be let down by masters of the genre was really disheartening

Metallica are the creators of Thrash Metal and quite possibly the best to ever do it, not METAL in general.

They aren't anywhere near as good now but the fact remains that there's, IMO, no metal band out there who has touched "Master of Puppets".

Mastodon are the best Metal band around today I think.

For the record it's "Exit Light" not Life.
