And not give any military control over, so they will still be under Israeli control and supervision. The Israeli plan is also to annex large parts of the West Bank where the settlers are living. From what I understand the removal will include civilians and certain Military personal in the area. The withdrawl will begin next summer. I don't have numbers or statistics, but Israel will control the boarder and the costline until the Palestinian leadership guarantees that there won't any more suicide attacks on Isralean residents. From a geographical view it is rather tiny compare to the West Bank, but at least it seems like a good way to start. This could take many years, and who really knows if it will help stop the violence.
