I personally think you're the only retard in this thread. Every point you've made, we've already covered.Samus's 16 energy tanks would offset the fact that MC's shields recharge. One energy tank is worth twice as much as MC's. Bullets would not hurt her suit. It's her shield that is taking the hits, no her armor. Samus has also been trained since the age of 4, long before MC. Samus could easily take any creature in Halo. MC would probably get himself blown up by a sap sack.
Space Pirates are far more intelligent than Covenant. At least they don't go stealing other people's technology. By enemies that are far stronger than him, do you mean the grunts that an SMG can slice through like butter? Samus' enemies are far more intelligent than grunts and elites. If you actually played Metroid Prime and read the space pirate information, you would know that Metroid Prime is an extremely intelligent creature. Hell, a plated beetle is smarter than an elite.
Tell me, if super missiles can barely hurt ridley, then what, pray tell, does MC have that could? He can't jump up to ridley and the only weapon he has that would have any affect would be the Rocket Launcher and for some reason I doubt it can lock on to Ridley. Samus' wave beam can track MC, there is no way she could miss.
And if you've read any Halo novels, you would know that over 20 spartans died on Reach. What does that tell you about their abilities? Master Chief is not immortal.
Lose the "I know more than everyone," attitude. It doesn't work for stupid people.
1 - Yes many Spartans died on reach. Most of them died because they were glassed by a an armada of 350 2km long Starships that were in space. Spartans cant jump that high. 😄
2 - MC was trained at the age of 6, that means Samus was not trained long before the MC. The exercises he was given was the excercieses given to full grown ODST. The best soldier a man can make without getting pumped full of technology.
3 - Covenant are not stupid. They have at time outsmarted the best Generals, out of a population of over one trillion that means those Generals are VERY smart. Elites are in fact "brilliant tactical beings."
4 - The Master Chief has fought through thousands if not millions of enemies with much better technology. Many of those enemies were technology, genetically, and physically superior.
5 - Samus lives in a time peroid far ahead that that of the MC's. Samus's technology, her armour and her guns are FAR more advanced than the MC's. Unfortunately, despite the fact that both of them are very good soldiers/warriors, very close, SAMUS SIMPLY OUTGUNS THE MASTERCHIEF! HER SUIT IS AT LEAST FIVE TIMES BETTER! Give them the same weapons and armour then you would have a fight. BUT SAMUS AS OF NOW WOULD TEAR HE MC TO PIECES WITH HER GUNS.

Sorry bud we dont all play on easy where you can walk into a room with 10 enemies stand still and survive for about 3 minutes while getting shot at.
No some of us play where if you stick you head out the window a sniper takes you through the skull in about 1 or 2 seconds. I dont play on easy, as it seems you do. 😄
PS: My 4 year old cousin can play halo on easy and win "easily".
Oh, one more thing. If I was fighting a war, and found an ancient alien gun fifty times better than mine, and ancient alien tanks fifty times better than mine, I would probably take that technology and make my army fifty times better. It would be retarded NOT to. Using better weapons is a very simple "tactical" descision.
It's a good for them that they did take the tech, because they are kicking man kinds ass so far in this war. And one of the biggest thing between them, and the human races total destruction, is one man. The Master Chief.

1. Bottom Line: they are not immortal. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't a couple Spartans die in the inital crash on reach?
2. Samus was trained at 4. Where does it say he was given the same training as ODSTs? That never happened. I would also say that Chozo training > ODST training.
3. Do those "brilliant strategies" encompass simply glassing a planet when they can't win on the ground using technology that they stole from another race and are not even using correctly?

If Samus fell from a few miles above ground I'm sure there would be a chance she would die. And that was 2 spartans out of a very large number. A small chance.
It stated in one of the manuals (I think), at the site, and in the books that the Spartans were trained with the Elite ODST exercises. That is excersises full grown men, trained from they were young had a challenge at given to a 6 year old. So yes, it did happen.
And the Chief was only given the ODST (ODST are the best human troops not modified) training up until he was ending his childhood. After that he was given training specific to Spartans.
When he was still just a kid, maybe 8 or so, he kicked the ass of an ODST or just regular marine, but I would say it was on ODST because all trainers were ODST.
If you point out all the bad things of the Covenant they will seem far worse than they really are. Religously they "must cleanse the human race" so that means glassing every planet wether they would win or not.
Human infantry normally got beaten by Covenant infantry. Whever Elites played a part in the full scale men were horrible beaten. Take Reach. Also, most infantry are trying to find artifacts, or information, not beat the human armies.
BUT let me put it in clear contrast. As I said Samus simply has much better technology than the Master Chief.
Comparing them has already been done. So I will make another comparison.
If the weapons and armour of the Chief were equivilant to a modern soldier today, then Samus weapons would as good as the Spartans.
For all those who don't know anything about Samus, you can clearly see the odds are very one sided.

Hm..your reply woudl be correct except for the fact that your assuming that I have only played easy. Actually I've played and beaten every mode of dificulity on Halo 1. (I dont have an Xbox, but I have Halo 1 on my computer.) I beat it on its hardest mode in about threwe hours, so please dont give me crap about how "tough" the Elites are. They still fell for the exact same tricks that I used on them in Easy, so whatever. Their goes your argument eh?
No not really because your description of
Is that why in the game they run at you all by themselves, not even letting their men catch up to support, they run at you, fire, miss about twenty times, than yell a you for awhile before getting shot.
Describes an Elite on easy, not legendary. I've been hit by Elites while doing tricks that outsmarts people my dear friend.
BTW: If anyone has Halo for PC my e-mail is [email protected]
I'll play with or against you. 😄
Hm...my screen names Odysseus if you ever see me online, albeit I'm a betetr 'hog driver than a fire fighter, though I can kick some serious ass with a pistol if need be...
Anyhoo I admit that I may be over exxagerating their stupidity, though I stand by the fact that their aim, even on hardest, still sucks, either that im a good at dodgin bullets, and they still yell at you when their shields dissapear.

Actually, in the Metroid Prime handbook, it states that Samus can withstand falls from ANY height. Master Chief was also about 12 when he killed the ODST troops. 8 was when he went on that mission with the Pelican. What you're basically saying is Samus only wins because of her technology. That is boulshit. That's like someone saying well, if Samus had MC's abilities she would win easily. We are not giving them each other's abilities.
