Samus weapons are also far easier to dodge than bullets, haveing the Star Wars effect of slowing down light, and less powerful, seeing as how most of them dont kill overgrown wasps in one shot in the games
For feats, MC can flip a tank effortlessly, and run 60 mph on an injured ankle. Samus has killed creatures much larger than herself, but as I said lacked intelligence necessary to capitalize on that advantage (Kraid, Metroid Prime)
Now for the fight, it depends on the range
1) Long range - MC snipes her, her visor is not stronger than tank armor
2) Medium range - Samus wins, because she can stay away long enough to get off a super missile, which would at least stun him long enough for her to get off a ko shot
3) Close range - can go either way, but I give it tyo Samus 6/10 because MC needs to close the gap before she hits him with a super missile
4) Point Blank - Plasma sword = dead Samus, without a sword he still wins 9/10, because he could grab her arm and beat her like a redheaded step child till the armor breaks
On another note, the Metroid manga sucked

Samus's 16 energy tanks would offset the fact that MC's shields recharge. One energy tank is worth twice as much as MC's. Bullets would not hurt her suit. It's her shield that is taking the hits, no her armor. Samus has also been trained since the age of 4, long before MC. Samus could easily take any creature in Halo. MC would probably get himself blown up by a sap sack.
Space Pirates are far more intelligent than Covenant. At least they don't go stealing other people's technology. By enemies that are far stronger than him, do you mean the grunts that an SMG can slice through like butter? Samus' enemies are far more intelligent than grunts and elites. If you actually played Metroid Prime and read the space pirate information, you would know that Metroid Prime is an extremely intelligent creature. Hell, a plated beetle is smarter than an elite.
Tell me, if super missiles can barely hurt ridley, then what, pray tell, does MC have that could? He can't jump up to ridley and the only weapon he has that would have any affect would be the Rocket Launcher and for some reason I doubt it can lock on to Ridley. Samus' wave beam can track MC, there is no way she could miss.
And if you've read any Halo novels, you would know that over 20 spartans died on Reach. What does that tell you about their abilities? Master Chief is not immortal.
