The Soviet bomb was well I dunno but most Soviet bombs are 100 megatons. The Halo books hint at 500 megaton bombs, and 150 megaton missiles, plus anti-matter bombs. lol Nukes in Halo are not weak. They'd blow a whole state up easily.

So why was this uber bomb so weak?

The HAVOC bomb is a small scale nuke...as I said, designed for infantry use and extraction. You can't use a massive nuke and still escape the blast... There are different scales of nuke...lol

So, what's going on? Is Samus and Chief blasting the hell out of each other with nukes now?

Lmao the COVENANT bombed the planet not US. Why would the UNSC bomb it's own planet? And yes, Plasma energy is possible, and invented in a smaller weaker scale. But....if you spent 500 zillion dollars and used up the worlds industy made 200 huge plasma cannons, over the course of a few weeks you could bomb the Earth until it was melted into glass.

It works like lightning? When lightning hits rock or sand it's turned to glass.

No we can't.

Plasma weapons require too much energy, i did an essey on it a last semester. We can use lasers, but the energy it would take to heat matter up to Plasma would be too much, also their are no earthly materials that could contain Plasma.

The fact that this thread is still going, only proves that these are 2 very worthy adversaries. If i'm not mistaken, this thread has more statements than any other in here.

The Mk vs. SF thread went pretty long, as well as the Supes vs. Goku thread.
