One way we could decide this is to simply place them in each other's shoes. Considering that Samus has an arm cannon attached to her arm, complete with flamethrower, and there are plenty of weapons lying around in Halo she would stand a much better chance than Master Chief, who would be screwed the moment his ammo runs out.

So we add Samus into Halo and Master Chief into Metroid? So Samus only has her arm cannon for she would have never been able to get those upgrades and not to mention she has no energy barrier and the Flood would crawl into her like they do with Elites and marines and kill her from the inside giving the Flood a new host.

Yes, because Master Chief will fair so much better the moment his ammo runs out. At least Samus will never have to constantly check how much ammo she has left and worry. And who said that she would have no upgrades? I also highly doubt that the flood will be able to break through Samus's suit, which is much stronger than the chief's.
You also have neglected to mention how Master Chief would do if he were put in Samus's world.

All that says is that Master Chief has strong armor that has nothing to do with how well the flood will be able to get through Samus's armor. Plus it was only the infection forms that got destroyed and even then it was only when the Chief's shields were up, when they went down the flood were able to kill him.
2. the games itself her suit is funtional through just about anything in the old games her suit was able to adapt to the acid on Zebes in Mp1 the omega pirate that was made of phazon actually landed on her and instead of it being destroyed it adapted to the phazon and improved itself in fusion the Xparicite infected it and samus while she needed a cure the uit adapted and made X paricites useful to her it adapted to luminoth tech. 3. i mis read the data so i withdraw that comment

I don't really think it's unfair to give the Chief his books, after all Samus does have six or seven games the Chief needs something to even it out. It's not like it would change the results. I've read the books even with the Chief's "super speed" and "super strength" he still gets hit alot and almost dies several times, especially in First Strike. Samus would still be able to take him.
