Every single Internet related group, forum or chatroom is the same: "newbies" take the heat. It's like hazing - a rite of passage.
People like to feel that they are part of a gang thats better than others, and picking on "noobs" is an easy way of doing it. All protestations that they dont check the rules and post dumb repetitious crap is nonsense: Half the people who have been here years still do that... and worse.
I judge people entirely on what they say and how they say it - which is why I hate all of you, noobs or not.
Most people aren't mean to newbies because they're new, they're mean because many of them come to the site and don't bother reading any of the rules and immediately do something stupid.
people are mean to stupid people, there are pletny of new members who never get shit on because they are intelegent and don't make morons of themselves teh first day.
That being said, anyone who makes fun of someone simple because they're new is an insecure dipshit who should not be taken seriously.
