kids shot by police with taser

What an Idiot! If the cop yelled at her telling to stop she should have STOP! Man, why the hell would you run away from the cops? That's simpy stupid!

What was the result of zapping a 6 year old with a taser? He stopped cutting himself with a shard of glass that was taken from a picture frame the kid broke. he had already slashed himself under the eye, on the arm, and on the thigh....and he was threatening to cut his own throat.

but heaven forbid someone do anything to prevent this kid from doing anything further. 🙄

Taser the sh!t out of the little son of a b!tch...that'll teach him.

It would probably have taken more time to reach over than it would for the kid to permanently mess himself up.

they might have tried and nearly had their fingers cut off.... as long as they tried other steps first, i dont see wat the problem was if it solved the situation and did little or no damage - i dunno how badly a 6 yr old would be affected by a taser...

ummm.,...you DO realise that an electric shock causes convulsions and also causes muscles to lock, so that cop could have sealed that kids fate.

dont any of you people have kids in your families? just that anyone here can accept a cop tazing a little 6 year old kid...practically a todler...its sad

Sure. He could have shot him. Or snuck up behind him and bludgeoned him with his night stick. People are harping on the kid's age, but here's news for you: razors are just as sharp when a six-year old uses them as they are when anybody else does, and a kid can slit his own throat just as efficiently as an adult.

When the officers tried to talk the kid down, he cut himself on the arm, when they stepped closer and intensified their tones, he cut himself in the thigh.

you DO realize what could have happened in the few seconds before a cop could get within the child's reach...don't you?

electric current causes C-O-N-V-U-L-S-I-O-N-S....
so the jolt could cause him to pull the trigger,
just as it could easily cause the kid to cut himself.

Yes, and if the kid had been actually holding the razor to his throat, this would have been relevant. But as far as I know, he wasn't.

I say let the stupid kid kill himself. One less person with no intelligence roaming the planet. I think more people who want to commit suicide should. More planet for the rest of us, who are actually grateful for being alive in the first place. I'll probably get flamed for that.

Anyway, if you can't chase down a 12 year old girl, you're seriously out of shape. Drop the doghnuts fatty, and do some sit-ups.

i don't think you can sue them. can you? if so, i may have a few cases pending...

yea but it takes the amusement factor out of it - theres nothing like watching a fat cop chase after a drug dealer or something.

i think the department only keeps them so they can be filmed in "COPS."
