Gregory, some day (hopefully) you'll grow up and have kids and wonder why you said such things.

Some day I'll grow up, have kids, and wonder why I didn't want the police to let a child cut his own throat?

Sue cops who are out of shape? Yeah, right. Remember, the police are not the military, they don't have to be in tip top condition if they don't want to be. That's something that a few people on this board may not realize.

No, they aren't forced to be in tip-top shape, but they should be in some sort of healthy physical condition. If not for their own safety, then for the safety of the people that they are being paid to protect. If I can handle a situation better than a police officer, there's something wrong. Not only are they trained for their job, but are paid to keep things under control. I shouldn't be able to control a situation better than a police officer because the officer likes to shove Krispy Kremes into his fat mouth all day.

Hey, don't knock Krispy Kreme.

And frankly, if it takes "the people" to keep things in line, then I don't have a problem with that. I don't put every ounce of my trust in the police.

When we do that, we lose our freedom.

I don't put all of my trust in the police either, specifically because events like this happen. BUT, if they are being paid to protect me, then that's what they should do.

i totally agree - im surprised that they dont get bollocked by their superiors for being overweight.

I just watch this on tv.I think that it came to me as a surprise. This girl should not had been shot by one of those gun things but then agian she should not had been skiping school.
Not to sound racist or anything but when ever this happens it is always on the news because this girl is spanish. Why can't say I have no idea.JM

do you think that it is justifiable for a 38 yr old cop to taser a 12 yr old kid? personally, if the cop was in shape, he should've been able to chase her... especially after alleging that the kid was drunk.

Fine by me, she shouldn't have run from a cop, stupid brat.

i would have agreed with the decision made on the 12 year old ; running into traffic had to five the cop a split second decision.

but the 6 year old in an office is too vague of a scenario to judge. i would rather talk it out with the kid but if the 'glint in the milkman's eye' starts getting cocky by all means zap him before he goes blind or digitless

One more thing inleast she was not killed!Right backfire?JM

i think in rare cases its justifiable to shock a kid with a tazer.
take jackie malfoy for instance...

😆

LMAO 😆

In most cases puting jerks like pvs on a list is a good thing to do before you shot him wiht a taser!JM Now that is funny!

Nelson said he fired "for my safety along with (the girl's) safety." Paramedics treated the girl, who went home with her mother.

What the hell, was he going to have a heart attack? Porker needs to run around out a bit more 🙂.

However, about the six-year-old...I wonder how deeply the kid had cut himself?

all i can say is next to porn tazers are the coolest things ever invented
