The Dementors were pulled towards them because of the agitation the zombies were projecting out. They were being surrounded from all around. Death Eaters were streaming out of the mansion as well.
‘Harry hurry up!’ Hermione screamed, panicked.
‘We need to keep running!’ Ginny yelled.
Torch jerked her head at Neville and Seamus and the pair of them seized Harry under his arm and ran hauling him with them. Ron and Hermione caught Harry by his feet and helped carry his weight while Torch and Ginny blasted as many of the Dark creatures as they could, Harry still remained completely oblivious to his surroundings.
‘We’ve got nowhere to go!’ Seamus yelled loosing his head completely ‘We’re as good as dead!’
Ron turned and slapped him hard across the face ‘Quite!’ he hissed. He and Hermione let go of Harry’s leg and concentrated on helping Torch and Ginny. As far as their eyes could see they were surrounded from all sides by a thick blankets of the fast approaching Death Eaters, zombies and Dementors; only Harry’s invisible shield prevented them from feeling the Dementors icy powers.
Hurry up Harry! Torch thought desperately.
As if an answer to their prayer, they felt tremendous wave energy emerging from Harry. The energy enveloped them all in its cocoon.
The most closest of Voldemort’s servants saw what Harry was up to and he gave a cry of outrage and lunged forward and grabbed Ron by his lapels and hauled him away. Ron simultaneously threw out his fist at the Death Eater while with the other hand he raised his wand, but before his fist could come in contact with anything, another Death Eater had fired a red a spell at him. Hermione cried out in outrage and stepped out of the protecting shield and shoved the Death Eater away from Ron. Ginny seeing what was happening tried to step out of the shield but Torch had grabbed hold of her hand and wouldn’t let go. Ginny whipped around to look at Torch, she was as white as a sheet of paper. Torch shook her head numbly. They were just able to witness Ron saying in a hoarse voice to Hermione before he fainted ‘I love you more than my whole life Hermione.’
The next instant the shield intensified in strength and they all felt a terrible jerk at their naval as they hurtled towards Hogwarts in supernatural speed.
They landed in the middle of the headmistress’ circular chamber where Professor McGonagol, was bending over some parchments. The room around her erupted as Ginny, Torch, Neville, Seamus and Harry materialized out of thin air right in the middle. They were all looking green with sickness and their eyes wore the look of something like disbelief, except for Harry who fainted right on the spot.
