Chris bent over, taking in as much air as possible. He soon went down on one knee...
"I.(gasp)..Guess.(gasp)..I guess...I'm in a little worse shape than I had thought. (gasp)"
He stood up and shook it off.
"Now, I think I'll go home and go to sleep for a little bit."
He skated over to Alexis,
"If any of your mates are doing anything ever and...Ehh, need an extra body(you could tell that he was uncomfretable trying to introduce himself to new people)...I'd like to come and get to know people...I hope I didn't sound too much like...A prick today but hockey is my life. It's the air I breathe. Don't take what I say or do here personally...Here's my number. Hopefully I'll see you tomarrow."
Mike looks up at the quickly setting sun, and stands up. "Well, I have surf to catch. Thanks for a great time. Hope I made it through the tryouts." Thinks for a second. "Hey, not sure who all is gonna be there, but a few people I met today in class said they wanted to come surf. You're welcome to come too."
"Down at the beach. I don't living at my parents house. My dads always away on buisness, and my mom and little sister are always drinking tea and acting all prissy. So when its warm I have a hammock down at the beach to sleep in. My friend at a surf shop on the beach keeps my board safe for me."
Pulls out of the drive way and makes his way down to the beach. Mike stops in front of a small shack of a shop and turns the car off.
"Home away from home. Brad has Bar-Be Q's alot too, so i eat free, as long as i help out around the shop. This is where alot of the really good locals hang out. I think I'm the only outsider that has been accepted into their "club" as quickly as I did. Everyone knows everyone and just hang out." Mike shuts up quickly when he realizes that he had been talking way to much.
