Should girls be allowed to play football?

why does it matter? it's not like there is anything stopping girls from playing, just the fact that guys dont feel as 'macho' when a girl beats them at football.
of course, if that be the case, questioning of sexuality could come into play for the male.
but that's a different story.

There is no good reason outside of possible nudity that a girl should be allowed to play football. They would get hurt. I am not being sexist, just a realist. I know football is becomming more of a pussy sport anyway due to the officials and rules. but a girl could not take a season worth of hits by 300 pound muscle jocks. allowing woman to play football would be lowering the athletic standard of the sport. I am not saying that woman are any less athletic than men, they just cannot reach the levels of physical strength that football requires.

Your friend has every right to try out for the football team. The name of the law (in the United States) that you are trying to enforce is called Title IX. Public schools must either offer a girl's equivalent or let the female try out for the boys team.

I don't feel there is anything wrong with girls being involved with 'guys' sports as long as they are pushed just as hard and such. They should have to meet the requirements if they want to play.

I am a female, and I wrestle on the boy's team at my school. Next year we are also going to have a football team, and I have every intention of being on that as well. I don't expect special treatment; I love being pushed just as hard as the guys.

Girls should be allowed to play if they can make the cut.

I have no problems with girls being on guys teams, but there will inevitably be a whole lot of verbal crap to deal with. Football's a rough game, but I'm sure there are girls quite capable of holding their own out there

last year our football coach wouldnt let girls play on the team and one of the girls got a lawyer and got him fired...now our new coach lets girls play but they dont get any discrimination or anything..we only have one girl on the team tho but everyone loves her and tells her how cool it is that shes willing to play on a team full of guys and she can outplay almost all the boys on the team..

I was on a football team when I was in the 5th grade....It was painful.

WELL I'M NOT GONNA DO HOUSE WORK!! It doesn't fit me...I like football and other sports...but only because I want to kick every guys ass on the other teams. And my coach said he was proud of how hard I work...SO it goes to show you that girls can be just as good as guys. And the only thing most boys are good at is thinking about sex.

first of all football and hockey dont require balls...girls can be just as good or better than guys at it....and what makes girls any better at doin housework?..the only reason women do the housework is cuz the guys are too lazy to get up off their asses and help..all they do is sit on the couch and watch MEN play football becuz they are sexist pigs....except for the gentlemen who do appreciate everything women do
