Should girls be allowed to play football?

Yes, I believe that girls can do anything guys can do and them some! If women want to play football, then i say, Let Us Play Football!

What's that suppose to mean? Women aren't these delicate little flowers you think we are. Infact 3 out of every 5 women are just as strong if not strong than the average male.

I have nothing against women being able to perform a lot of tasks similar or better than men, but trust me, football is not one of them. Unless you're playing flag football or you're the kicker, but we see how that turned out at the University of Colorado, didn't we?

Look, football is not that hard of a sport to play. Trust me. I've played tackle football. I'm more afraid when I have to spar with a woman in TKD then when i play football with a bunch of men

As for playing football, did you play it in an organized eviroment? What position did you play. Were thay actual footbal players, or just a bunch of guys?

If women want to play, fine let them try, if they make it more power to them. But not alot of woman can achieve the strength level or endure the punishment that it takes to play competitive football.

And I know that, read my post above. Not all men or women can play football. it's not for everyone

Well, that may be true that they were actual football players, but if I was a collegiate football player and was playing a friendly game of tackle football at Thanksgiving, and there was a woman playing, I could guarantee you that I would not hit the woman as hard as if she were a man.

He may have been an actual football player, but what I am asking you is were you going full out? Full speed. Full contact. Concussion inducing hits a possibility on every play?

Who cares about what she did on Thanksgiving.

It was essentially a pick up game. No pads, no linemen, no highly structured rules...just the basic "10 alligators", no offsides kinda game.

A college level male football player would completely decimate any female football player. Why do you think there aren't any female "skill" players at the collegiate level?

Because they can't cut it...plain and simple. The rare few that can take the pain...can't perform at a high enough level. The ones that can run or catch as good as a guy can't take the punishment or the physical contact involved.

I understand the need for equal opportunity but it's getting silly when females think they can do everything a man can. They just can't.

fair enough most women cant play american football at a professional level, but wheres the harm in letting them try - most women probably dont bother because everyones so determined that women cant do it they wont let them try. There are some pretty butch women out there who have more testosterone than most men who should be allowed at least the chance to try out.
