Halo Movie Confirmed

denzel washington is simply too short to play the chief even if they gave 7 inch boots or something else. he doesn't have the body to play the chief either. the chief has to be head and shoulders taller than the marines if he isn't then he is not the master chief.

Not to be racist or anything, but its already been confirmed in the Halo Novels that Master Cheif is white 😬

His real name is John and he has brown hair and blue eyes if I remember correctly 😐

Still, Cheif shouldnt take off his helmer ❌

Cheif should be CGI

the whole movie should be CGI in my opinion.

the movie is based off the game though which is totaly ambiguis about master cheif. and anything expanded universe doesnt hold much weight accuracy wise. I do think though denzel is a weird choice, and think it would be best to just not take his helmet off and have the same voice actor from the game.

Actually the novels are in contiunity with the games 😐

So yeah....

in some ways they are and sometimes not. they aren't canon facts. if so then they would both be in the games. planet reach is before the game and first strike is after the game. the only book that is exactly with the original storyline is the flood which gives an accurate view of the game. the others don't because they aren't canon.

Considering all Halo merchendise has to be approved by Bungie first, yeah it is canon 😐

I will not really excited when there is movie adaptation from game to film. Until now, all the adaptation is sucks. There is a huge gap of quality between comic to film and game to film.
I'm still sad what they are doing to Resident Evill.
sob..sob..sob..
🙁

Well there's always the Halo comic 😄

Is Marvel producing this? I heard that somewhere.

I don't think so.

They produced the graphic novel, in stores now.

Something tells me this movie will both be good and bad...it'll have it's moments..But I dont think I'd watch it at the movie theaters...just rent it..

it just depends on who is who and if the movie is in direct line with the games.

So, its official... the Halo movie is dead:

Wingnut Films Press Release:
"As was previously confirmed, we deeply regret that both Universal and Fox did not choose to move forward with financing the Halo film under the original terms of the agreement. At this time Peter Jackson and Fran Walsh, along with their partner, Microsoft, have mutually agreed to postpone making a feature film based on the Halo video game universe until we can fulfill the promise we made to millions of Halo fans throughout the world that we would settle for no less than bringing a first class film to the big screen. We are fully supportive of Director Neill Blomkamp's vision of the film. Neill is a tremendously gifted filmmaker and his preliminary work on Halo is truly awe-inspiring. While it will undoubtedly take a little longer for Halo to reach the big screen, we are confident that the final feature film will be well worth the wait."

Oh well...

In other news Street Fighter is making its return to the big screen! http://www.variety.com/article/VR1117952892.html?categoryid=13&cs=1

There is no justice in the world.

Its not dead, they are still gonna find a studio(s) to finance.

well its in a coma then, cause as of right now its going no where.

Yeah...

Ya know, it's not like Microsoft doesn't have money coming out its arse... I'm sure they could fund the whole thing if they wanted to...

Anybody know if this will be based on each game or the whole trilogy as one movie. I hope it is not the latter.

I am really looking forward to this movie, no matter how they will make it😄
