Another movie game

I'm not starting a new game, cyclops. I like your game. My "new game" was a half-hearted attempt at frustrated humor, showing that the dregs would only respond to a game if every other answer were "Pirates of the Caribbean" or some other flavor-of-the-month.

Now, in the name of all that is decent and holy, please keep your original game going and attempt to link "The Purple Rose of Cairo" and "Escape from New York".

You already told us how you did that......twice. Why not start a new one?

Lord of the Rings-->Scream

Thank you Soth... but you know somebody is going to go

Orlando Bloom -> Pirates of the Carribean -> Johnny Depp -> Blow -> Penelope Cruz -> Vanilla Sky -> Cameron Diaz -> Mask -> Jim Carrey -> Ace Ventura -> Courtney Cox-Arquette -> Scream

Somebody else can think of a new one, I really dont want to.

No prob! Congrats! Here's what I had:

Elijah Wood -> Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind -> Jim Carrey -> Bruce Almighty -> Jennifer Aniston -> Friends -> Courtney Cox Arquette -> SCREAM

I forgot that Cox was in Ace Ventura, though, good job

New one: Spaceballs -> Titanic

Spaceballs... Ha ha ha! Great Movie!

Mel Brooks -> Robin Hood: Men in Tights -> Cary Elwes -> Liar Liar -> Jim Carrey -> Man on the Moon -> Danny DeVito -> Twins -> Arnold Schwartzenegger -> True Lies -> Bill Paxton -> Titanic

That was hard!

... somebody think of one. *looks in Soth's direction*

Whoa, that was different from what I had all together:

Rick Moranis -> Strange Brew -> Dave Thomas -> Rat Race -> Kathy Bates (squirrel lady) -> TITANIC

Hehe

New one: Halloween -> Dawn of the Dead (2004)

"Halloween" starred Jamie Lee Curtis, who was in "Perfect" with John Travolta, who was in "Pulp Fiction" with Ving Rhames, who was in "Dawn of the Dead" (2004).

By the way, Soth, I only "told" you the answer if you cheated and looked at the spoiler. But, just to keep the peace, I won't include a spoiler on this one. Happy?

"The Adventures of Ford Fairlane" and "Mulan"

Sorry, I have a lack of restraint 😛

Here was my solution to the Halloween -> Dawn of the Dead:

Jamie Lee Curtis -> Halloween H20 -> Josh Hartnett -> Black Hawk Down -> Ty Burrell -> Dawn of the Dead (2004) (Ty played Steve)

Adventures of Ford Fairlane -> Gilbert Gottfried -> Beverly Hills Cop II -> Eddie Murphy -> Mulan

New one: Dr. No -> Spider-Man

"Dr. No" starred Sean Connery, who was in "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade with Denholm Elliot, who was in "Noises Off!" with Michael Caine, who was in "The Cider House Rules" with Tobey McGuire, who was in "Spider-Man".

And, for the previous one, what I had in mind was "Ford Fairlane"-->Ed O'Neill-->"Dutch"-->JoBeth Williams-->"Teachers"-->Nick Nolte-->"48 Hours"-->Eddie Murphy-->"Mulan"

ANYWAY...moving right along...

Next:

"The Grapes of Wrath" and "When Harry Met Sally"

Here's what I had:

Dr. No -> Sean Connery -> The Rock -> Nicolas Cage -> Adaptation -> Chris Cooper -> Seabiscuit -> Tobey Macguire -> Spider-Man

I dont have one for yours yet

Kinda fun once you get into it 😛

Round, which Grapes of Wrath do you mean? The 1940 version?

Yes I did. Sorry, I didn't even know the 1991 TV version existed until I looked it up just now on the IMDb. The only name I recognized from that feature was Gary Sinise (who, coincidentally, was also in the remake of "Of Mice and Men"😉.

Okay, "Grapes of Wrath (1940) and "When Harry Met Sally" (1989). Please, somebody, anybody, just answer it.

I got nothing 🙁

Grapes of Wrath->Henry Fonda->Midway->James Coburn->Young Guns-> Lou diamond philips ->Courage under fire->Meg Ryan->When Harry met Sally

Whew
